Has anyone thought we will need a bigger room because when Jed comes in to visit she wont be able to fit, can we extend the room ?? Brings a big fresh fruit platter and some freshly brewed Hot chocolate and Coffee mmmmmmmm

I have had a Labrador and a Doberman and Rottweiler, all three shed a lot of hair, also hubby had a German Shep that she too! But the chinese Cresteds were pretty good! lol Sorry butmy dogs do shed dander still ( skin cells) no dog at all is totally no shedding!

Helena Has been excellent with all the info she has provided for my dogs and even did a 15 minute session with them on Saturday in her lunch break at the show, now thats excellent service. She is approachable and calls a spade a spade and is u[pfront an honest ( something I find few and far between in some of the Dog World circles!) I have a video of her with Naca on sat on my You tube site Hope to meet you all at her training soon. i mght have to throw a sickie so i can come meet the equisite dogs that i don't think i will ever remember how to pronounce lol No dont throw a sickie lol we will see you at a show, You dont work in perth do you / Just as we are up there this Friday for the Animal protection Day and shake a tin in the Hay and Murray St Malls, Rach from here is coming to handle her girl Taha daha ( they have this thing going lol) Taha loves Rach and she was the first person she really took too! I worked with the hound club in the Uk many years back they are the most adorable little critters so smoochy and these were kennel dogs, sorry not much help but I can vouch they were sweet natured dogs. The AQIS are using them now as Fruit detectors and have done for the last year or so, they are taller than the Beagles.

Is the TUesday one with helena? My dogs are going but probably next week not this week.

I asked where on earth this person had my email from ( its on my web site) but the email came to me on a personal email not many people have. The reply came You are on RSPCA databases! What rubbish, I am on the UK RSPCA database as for my breed and information relating to that but that is a different email, so I have re emailed and asked WHERE this "person" has retreived my personal email from. I am not very happy!

Glad to hear you are all ok, its a terrible feeling that someone ( drugged out scum I bet) has been into the house and seen everything you own and helped themselves to what they want. I too was a victim of scum bucket drugged out thieves not that long ago ( I do pray karma helps them to choke on their next hit!) Make sure you can give photos por serial numbers to the police so they can track the goods, I also took the numbers to local Cash Converter stores and Pawn brokers. The cheek of some people I mean FFS why cant they just get a job like everyone else !

A dog of that quality would only go to someone who would not desex. Whats the point of breeding top dogs if they arent going to be tested and bred from to improve the breed if suitable. Correct Okay, thank you. BB- Going slightly OT here but can you elaborate on your sport a little and why you say that it is hard to find good working females? Are males just more suitable or does it come down to the inconvenience of having an entire female (seasons, time out for breeding, etc) Appologies if that's a silly question but I am genuinely curious. We trial in Schutzhund and do some work in K9 security with GSD's. Male's in Schutzhund will generally score higher than females purely on size and power and don't suffer of course from seasonal issues and the majority of dedicated sports people will train and trial males. There are some females trialling but not nearly enough titled and proven workers for breeding improvements compared with amount of good stud dogs available. I would have to check the rule book, but I don't think you can officially compete with a desexed dog at all, but you can train at club level with a desexed dog for pleasure. Personally, I would really like to see more females trialling as a nice bitch line complementing the stud lines is the way to moving forward with the breed. what is your experience in dog sports ( Not K(9security work) as in time wise ? and events ?

I would also like to know a bit more ( having no knowledge of any dog sports) and what your involvement with the sport is ( capacity, time, levels etc) I cant understand some of your posts and the reasoning behind some statements.

Well I can tell you we desexed all our Narcotic Detector dogs as they searched much better when desexed and it was better also for the males who worked with the bitches.

As Ellz said To be perfectly frank, in many cases, with my breed in particular there are times that I think I'd rather euthanase every puppy that I don't keep for myself. At least then I can vouch for what happens to them and not have to deal with idiots any more! I agree Well said I know exactly how you feel.

They could actually whack them all on limited then upgrade to main when they have a proper insight into the dog's quality at a more mature age than 8 weeks. ahh why bother just BANG em all on main, actually why bother doing anything, just whack em anywhere, after all its a business transaction, actually can they be express posted ? too ? You could always give them away for free and eliminate the business transaction I will be, in fact I am hoping I have quality pups to showcase this breed in Australia in every state, BUT I know my dogs are not business transactions, they are the start of a new beginning in a breed I care very much for and a monetary value on the dogs is not important, the quality and education of the public far outweighs any $$ value that anyone could place on them. I am proud I have attitude, and I am proud I have restrictions and one day I hope to be able to prove I have the best dogs in many ways, but that is a hrad road of work that I am prepared to put in, ATTITUDE and all. PS If people dont like the ATTITUDE, you are so right BB they can bugger off and get a puppy elsewhere, no skin off my nose!

Oh no! Did you ask them not to? I always make a point of reminding my vets when they have one of my show dogs in and except where unavoidable (like the grass seed in Robi's side ) they have always not shaven! But if you don't say anything they will shave. Gee I hope I dont have that problem with the vets ( I mean !! ) lol I get payback as every scratch shows up and my dogs are rough as gu\ts at each other!
