You will get a chance to meet her :)

Yes but I want to meet her while she's still under 12 weeks of age! That's the totally cute stage you wish they could stay in and their puppy antics are quite forgiveable due to the cuteness factor :D

Wanna swing by Cloverdale for 5 mins for a quick cuddle  laugh.gif

Hi All,

i saw a couple of pages back you talking about wasp/bee stings....last night i had to do the rush to the vet when i was greeted to this when i got home.......some one decided to take on a wasp/bee and lost big time! but won with getting to sleep with mummy in bed and kicking dad out to the spare bed...he wasn't happy but us girls stick together!

Just a question so I can be sure i am not spouting BS.

Are there any laws to debarking in WA? everything i found said there are no specific laws though RSPCA do frown on it

Emery you can have it done as a last resort (as to euth) just get GH or a vet to say it is needed and you have tried all other alternatives etc. I think GH still does it.

J

Thanks wazzat its for a friend i thought it was a last resort and not ilelgal in wa just wanted to confirm and as far as i am aware it is still done by G.

had a lady go me after i suggested, crate training, no bark collars or debarking after trying other options that every one of those options is illegal with the rspca and she is appalled i would suggest such a thing, gave me a good giggle lol

It is not approved by the RSPCA except in a Vet approved circumstance as an alternative where the only other option is death!

BUT it would be good for her to also find the cause as to why the dog is barking, as they DO NOT bark for no reason, its just a lazy owners way of saying "I cant be botherd! " and there are PLENTY of them out there!!

Appreciate the info.

unfortunately he is a bit neglected at the moment and is barking and digging, her daughter (2) has just been diagnosed with leukaemia so she is a bit distracted and spending alot of time at pmh so i can understand, i told he to try crate trianing first as then she can have dog inside with her but out of the way :D

You're invited!

A few of us (me, mirawee, amypie and rallyvalley) are heading to the show Wicked on the 31st July at Burswood and are meeting up for dinner beforehand, partly because we need to eat anyway and partly in celebration of my big eek1.gif birthday the next day.

I am opening up the dinner invite to our WA thread folk if anyone would like to help me celebrate (or console me). The restaurant hasn't been picked yet, but it will be in the Burswood complex due to the show being there. The restaurants there are pretty pricey so my vote goes for Carvers buffet. It's about $22 a head I think, which includes endless soft drink.

Please let me know if you'd like to join us! Would love to see some of you there! We are also going to have some drinkies and head to the casino after the show so anyone is welcome to join us then, too. But as it's a Sunday night, I can't see many people opting for that. But dinner will be early enough for you to get home and prepare yourself for work the next day! (I have the Monday and Tuesday off :happydance: :D)

Two days off? Crikey you must be planning to have a big night :eek:

 No not really, it's just that I haven't had holidays in forever, so thought I may as well take a couple of days off. I would like to take the whole week off actually.

Your birthday is a couple of days after mine miss pie :provoke: Are you getting drunk and where do I sign up? :p

Gosh I haven't even thought about it, and I only ever drink responsibly :coffee:

It's Trixie's 2nd birthday in 10 days!

Good thing I'm not currently :coffee: because it would be all over my screen right now!

Is Trixie only 2?! eek1.gif

it went down in 30mins after the antihistamine needle at the vets, i did give her two tablets prior to going to the vet but it wasn't slowing down the swelling and since it was closing off her nose on one side i took her straight down (the bugger stung her right on the side gab of her snout)....after that she just felt sorry for herself...very much back to her normal cheeky self now
