I found a youtube slideshow I made 3 years ago, of Rex and his friends (dog and human)

Its never been more appropriate then now.

And yes it makes me cry, but it shows you what kind of life he had

Monika, I am so sorry to hear about Rex's passing. I just watched the slideshow - perfect song to accompany the photos. Very emotional to watch...had to get my box of tissues

It's not fair that our dogs are taken so early. Rex was extremely handsome, and a beautifully proud looking boy. You forget how much it hurts when it's their time.

Take care Monika *hugs*

Just got your email, Lots of Hugs for you Monika.

Rex you lived a fantastic life, even if you dug holes and destroyed things hehe, you achieved so much in the ring :( and understood English and Polish. It is now your turn to help out over the bridge and help the dogs others have lost get by.

Run free Rex, Run Free.

Found this poem about about our furry best friends ;)

I am not religious but I adore this & wanted to share it with you at this sad time ;)

When God had made the earth and sky,

The flowers and the trees,

He then made all the animals

And all the birds and bees,

And when his work was finished

Not one was quite the same..

He said:”I’ll walk this earth of mine

And give each one a name.”

And so He travelled land and sea

And everywhere He went

A little creature followed Him

Until it’s strength was spent.

When all were named upon the earth

And in the sky and sea,

The little creature said,

” Dear Lord, there’s not one left for me.”

The Father smiled and softly said

“I’ve left you to the end.

I’ve turned my own name back to front

And called you DOG, my friend.”

RIP Sexy Rexy - you were beyond special

watch over your mum as thanks for such a good life

A couple photos of Rex, taken when you brought him to a show with Divani at Castle Hill because I wanted to see him and give him a cuddle. Remember how you joked that you could probably "still put him in the ring" and he was 8? Almost exactly two years ago.

Monelite, I think he was looking up at a feather you were holding in your hand.

A beautiful capture Ripley. My condolances to you MonElite on the passing of wonderful Rex. I have had the pleasure of a dobe as a companion - they are truly a breed apart. Keep safe your memories and knowing the gift you had in Rex.
