Apologies for the lateness, it's been a mad month here.

This month's theme is 'wide open'.

You need to shoot on your lens's most open aperture (remember, small number = wide open aperture)

This isn't always as easy as it sounds and some images will go horrible wrong along the way and quite often focus can be missed.

So get along and have some fun :confused:

Ok here goes :D Taken with the kit 90-300, so 'wide open' only goes to 5.6. I like that the flowers are wide open too ;)

No editing or cropping, just natural this time, but just learning so please let me know what could be improved ;)

eta I took these in RAW and only have Picasa to view RAW at the moment - how come they look so much sharper and brighter in Picasa? Once exported as jpegs they seem to 'dull', any tips for getting round this?

eta 2 - duh, just realised it's down to the zoom add-on for firefox zooming the pics once online :cry:
