Not as much as some ;).

I have:

A double ended leash

A long line leash

4 regular leashes

2 check chain collars

2 regular flat collars

A Sporn Pack Leader head harness

A car harness

My prong collar

A puppy collar ( or small breed)

Crate

Various towels/sheets which line the crate and are for wiping down dirty/wet dog

Fold up water bowl

2 treat pouches

2 Slicker brushes

A double sided brush which I never use as it is useless for my dog's hair

2 nail clippers ( only one which I use)

Shampoo/ Conditioner

Spare poop bags

Bag full of spare clickers

Antibiotics

Advocate flea/ worm treatment

Just don't me how much I have spent on dog books ( and how much more I want to spend on dog books)

You know the sad part.... I show a single hairless chinese crested

That reminds me of a day I was sitting at a dog show, waiting for group 5 to finish. I was watching the people around me get their dogs ready and a lady with a whippet set up right across from me. I thought how awesome that would be.....starts with W and hardly needs any grooming so you could get there near the end of the show (no getting up at 4am like I do), pop a pretty lead on the dog, and go in the ring without any bother.

Hahaha....wasn't I wrong! She took a full two hours and a HUGE grooming arsenal to prepare this dog....it was brushed, combed, polished, rubbed, smoothed down, wiped over, powdered, sprayed, greased, polished some more, whiskers trimmed, toenails clipped, ears wiped out....and at the end of it, the dog looked exactly the same as when she'd started. But I was quite thoroughly entertained the whole time! LOL!

I deliberately don't have a 'dog cupboard' so my dog stuff is in small bunches all over the house and car, that way OH won't realise the full extent of it either

LMAO love it Amps!

still wondering how I ended up with 17 collars LOL

Don't feel too bad Huski. I swear each of my two dogs has a different collar for every day of the year! Every time I go into Pet Barn to pick up either cat or dog food I come out with an armful of new collars and leads. :o

I have no idea just what I have and if I was to gather everything all together I am sure I would never understand just where it all came from - add over 10 yrs of dog grooming and that is a lot of dog gear..

eta: because I have large and small breeds I have everything to suit size - doubling up on lots of things.

 Dieter used to have a bath and fragrance collection to rival my own, but we really culled it back last year and now he's using human QV stuff to get his 'itchies' under control.... but I actually think the 'itchies' he has were stress related/attention seeking = he hasn't itched ONCE since having his friend here :)

I have a laundry cupboard full of his and my professional grooming gear along with assorted training tools - and he also has the bottom section of the pantry for all his treats and bowls.

But unlike my human stuff he actually uses his all the time, but don't get me started on his toys!

Oh wow it sounds like you do some amazing things with your dogs!! Do you do exhibitions with them for the Drafting and water training?

PS I am seriously jealous about the caravan. I am desperate to try and get a job that will fit in with uni so I can buy one!! Camping is just not cutting it anymore,

 I'm not quite that bad, my grooming is mostly done from home, just a quick spritz of aloe vera to shine the skin and a fluff with the slicker brush and we're good to go!

The caravan is an old one we did up...hubby made a crate in the double bed area and we put the bed on top. newfie height....We will also be making an outside door. the dogs love it. And whilst the car gets hot, the caravan stays cool. We also put strong mesh over the mozzie screen in the door of the main area, so it can be left open and the crate has one window with secure mesh over the mozzie screen...it's all about the dogs :) Financially it was really cheap, because hubby is very handy and we have had so much fun out of it. we go everywhere and just stop, eat and sleep.....No setting up at all.

I do a lot with the Drafting, last event was at Dogs day out at KCC park. Annabelle is very good off lead and loves it. and we "show off" our water work here a lot at Lake Hume...We are still perfecting the water Rescue with the current dogs, especially Katy. one of my previous newfies, Abbey was amazing

I saw an old caravan last night for 2k (that I think would sell for 1k) and if I had ANY faith in myself at all I would have just bought it. But I am simply hopeless at building anything that remains built!! It needed to be gutted which would have suited me fine- it was something about the wheels that I thought was beyond me.

Is it sad that I have almost decided on how I want the caravan set up, even though I won't be able to afford one for another few years

I don't look

Just a suggestion, don't throw it out donate it to a rescue group or pound.

Oh good idea Sway! I will have a look through what is in the throw away pile to see what is worth saving.

Yea, I've been meaning to see if the local RSPCA shelter here will want all my old dog/cat stuff. I have tons of stuff to give away.

I think the thing I hoard the most (other than toys) would be brushes. I have about 10 dog brushes :o

Your smaller All Breeds and Breed Specific shelters would be grateful, they don't recieve the funding the RSPCA do.

Not sad at all. We have been looking at caravans, camper trailers, pop top campers and even horse floats for a while now trying to find a floor plan that would best suit four large dog crates. I wish there was a company that made a dog trailer/ camper combination under 20K.

Thanks, I didn't have a clue where to look. I'll see who I can find online.

Wow, we bought ours for 3K.....gutted part of it, put in the crate and bed and some new cupboard, adjusted the dinette and put in security screens on the door and crates window. All for less then 1K. And we love it. Ours is only 14' long and 7' wide, which makes it a dream to tow and park.
