I thought the Labrador was gorgeous! The way he got around the group ring was impressive (haven't watched BIS yet). I'm not normally a labrador person but he really grabbed me.

I agree not a Lab fan but i haven't seen go like that for a long time & keep going & be full of beans jumping around .

Oooh I'm watching the Gundog group judging now on youtube - so many beautiful dogs!

I've never seen some of them before, must find out more about some of the spaniels. Also do we have wire-haired Viszla in Australia?

The Lab is really so handsome :)

I just found the HWHV on Dogzonline but no Kooikerhondje

I think I'll be watching all the other groups now just for fun.

Question - they don't seem to have the very blingy leads I see advertised here - are there rules about leads at this level?

They have them there but showing in the UK is often very casual to the point of a bad dress day event

I thought The Lab looked maybe a tad too round, but I also thought he was a bit sort of short in neck when one considers the game he would be expected to retrieve he were doing what his breed is designed to do....but yes I have seen fatter ones here and Labs with hardly any neck at all.

The standard calls for Chest of good width and depth, with well-sprung barrel ribs

Barrel means that round

Thanks Sheridan!

Did your friend use a specialist travel guru here or do it all herself/himself?

annie

She used a travel agent but I'm not sure who.

Many use Elite travel in Sydney they do many dog show packages
