Her Majesty Dogmad Posted July 24, 2013 Share Posted July 24, 2013 Glad the authorities are now handing out some decent fines but that doesn't make up for the victims' distress, it simply shouldn't happen. This particular attack shows that the owner of the already declared dangerous dog doesn't give a crap about anyone else and happily places them and their pets at risk. tdierikx Posted July 25, 2013 Share Posted July 25, 2013 They'd want to take it seriously... there are lots of holiday-goers that bring their dogs with them up there - and there have been numerous incidents where local people's dogs have been attacked. My brother's assistance dog was one that was attacked by a holidaying dog - whose owners packed up and left the area in the middle of the night to avoid being prosecuted... grrr! T. You simply can't judge a book by its cover, can you? All the money and probably all the education in the world and someone still behaves in this way ....
