Thank you everyone for your kindness.

I held her tight when she was given her wings and told her I loved her. She new what was happening and went very quickly. It was heart breaking but I am thankful to the vet he had worked with her through her illness and liked her so I was glad he was the one at the end. He told me the last lot of tests had come in and the specialists said they recon she had a tumour. That was one of the reasons she had signs of dementia, it came so quickly, one day she was ok and the next she wasn't. Even with her meds there really wasn't anything else I could do. It was a hard decision but I loved her to much to let her suffer.
