This is my latest baby that I get to cuddle every day :p
-
Thanks Teamsnag - maybe your boy & my girl can go out on a date when they get older :p He is such a handsome little devil
-
Finally got that standing shot of my girl, Ella, today whilst visiting at a show.
-
I have the wooden baby gates. But now that I have little babies that can just walk between the bars I have added a panel of bunnings compost bin to each gate. Just hooked a bungy strap to each.
-
They are definately time wasters and better than watching TV Mine have me in stitches sometimes with the games that they play.
-
How did they go in the car Teamsnag? Did they enjoy their outing? Have attached another photo of my girl Ella. She came prancing into the house last night with a length of wire in her mouth goodness knows where she found it. It is amazing what little mouths can find sometimes
-
Yes, my girls rule the roost here Poor Connor doesn't have a say since he is the only male.
-
Another one of her (sorry couldn't fit them in one post). She has the most gorgeous eye lashes - wish they were mine
-
Some up to date photos of my girl Ella who is now 9 weeks old. She is very naughty but who can get upset when she looks like she does
-
She looks like a "Crystal" to me - very pretty girl. Hope you have lots of fun with her.

Here is a picture of the princess. As you can see, butter wouldn't melt in her mouth ;)

Yes, think I might have kept one of the noisy ones too Hesa. Put the babies to bed last night around 9.00pm and went & had my shower. Could hear Ella barking to be let out again. I just ignored her hoping to she would give up but nup, 20 minutes later still going. Went out and told them they could have a further 15 minutes of freedom but that was it. You should have seen the way she strutted past me Cheeky brat. They had a run around outside in the cold (their choice) and a wrestle and then meekly went to bed They are certainly training me well

Awww very cute mercedes

Now I don't believe that Fanny is the naughty one she is just too cute for that. The new owner who came to pick up her girl pup on the weekend asked me who was the naughty one?? I just looked at her, smiled & said "Guess?" Yep it was the one she was taking LOL

Yes, I will be there on the Dogs NSW stand with my sheltie, Connor. Hope it isn't too windy. Am looking forward to it. -
It really is annoying when they change their mind or get a puppy from somewhere else and don't have the common courtesy to let you know. Mercedes - I am sure you will have no problem finding homes for your babies - maybe even better than the ones you had lined up. Teamsnag - sounds like a very lovely home for your baby. I was very good today and didn't cry when I had to say goodbye to my baby boy at the airport. I think it is the thought of him growing up in Adelaide & being so far away but his new parents have promised photos & updates.
-
I have had one of my puppies new parents fly in from Adelaide to meet him and then I will take them & him back to the airport for their flight home. The rest of the babies are playing in the sun with their mum. Tomorrow, my older boy Connor and I will be going to the Dogs Day Out at Clontarf and will be on the Dogs NSW stand. Hoping the weather will be as nice as it is today.

Mine have started leaving the nest as well. Girl pup has gone to a lovely home and will do obedience & agility when older & has two sheltie sisters. Her brother will be flying out this afternoon with his new parents to Adelaide and he will have two older sheltie sisters as well so that will leave just two. The other little boy wil probably go to his new home next weekend. Mine are still running with their mum but she doesn't have any milk anymore & she loves playing games with them. Hesa - great photos. Will have to try and get some of my little girl Ella when someone visits - very hard to get standing shots on my own.
-
Oh Cavalblaze, how worrying for you. I do hope it is just the mince and that all clears up really quickly. Poor baby, they can go down so quickly. Big hugs to your baby and its mother.
-
Well mine have started spending the days outside - they have a large awning and lots of beds to snuggle in. Just too hard to keep them locked up in the puppy pen all day while I am at work. They seem to be enjoying their time outside with their mum. She only lets them feed for about 1 minute in the mornings and that is it for the day. Microchipping is this Friday and eye test next week. Geez the prices they are charging for eye tests is getting beyond a joke

Have PM'd Showmummy but thought others might be interested in this information as well. Sorry to take so long to send you the information on the Canine Hervesvirus. The product we give is human type L-Lysine 500mg (I cut them in half, then break them apart in the food). We start giving the tablets as soon the the bitch comes in season and continue until after she finishes nursing. According the the expert we had at our seminar the babies could get the disease in uterine at approx 3 weeks before whelping. By starting early, it is in the mom's system in plenty of time. Candy & Steve, having lost an entire litter of 7 have become qusi-experts. It is also extremely important that the babies are kept very warm/and in no drafts until they are 3 weeks old! I just followed their instructions since I'd bred "Sophie" to "Jesse" and he was the sire of their litter too. I've had 3 litters since then by "Jesse" and so far everything has been OK. Candy also had a litter sired by "Jesse" and her litter was fine to. She just had a litter sired by "Jack" they are the same age as your litter and doing fine. Here is a website Candy sent me months ago: www.2ndchance.info/herpesvirusdog.htm. Hope it helps, this is devastating as the babies appear healthy and then all of a sudden begin to die, they are pretty safe after 3 weeks of age. Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more information.....

I have been lucky with the early morning crying - Kitty has decided she will help out and goes in and gives them a little feed but think that will have to end. I heard crying start around 6.30am this morning and when I got to the kitchen, a little person met me She had climbed over the gate in the puppy pen - cheeky girl. They go in and out the back door by themselves now - have a play outside and then come back in to reek havoc Their poor grandpa doesn't know where to lay so he doesn't get pounced on May book mine in for vaccinations on Sunday morning and will get them chipped during the week as a friend will come and do it at home. Then have to register and get them eye tested. BB - I think Pedigree Puppy porridge isn't on the market anymore which is a shame. Mine didn't start getting anything till around nearly 5 weeks. They were getting more than enough from mum. Sounds like we all have very cheeky children ;)

Oh Mercedes , glad to hear everyone is OK after the mishap. What a shock that must have been. That's it - heating pad is getting turned off as soon as I get home - just know the hours are going to drag at work now until I can leave
