Thats so sweet to hear they were being so friendly, a great sign then! :) Well they turn 8 weeks tomorrow, so hopefully in another 2 weeks time ! The breeder hasn't set a date yet, but thats ok, when she's ready to bring Miah will be fine with us. Starting to get some things organised now for her arrival ! So early Feb at this stage. My husband has asked for a week and half off then (from his work) and i am taking a month of my voluntary work (which is only Mondays mornings anyway) . But yeah the time is coming up quickly now ! :)

Its wonderful when you go to a breeders place and are able to see what their dogs temperaments are like. Im glad we were able too as well ;) Sounds like the breeder knows now which one is the most suitable for you . Ours wasn't over cuddly with us (all the others ones were) but ours is very independent and was just wanting to show off instead lol Im still very happy we are getting her tho !:) So how much longer before he comes to live with you??

For me personally, its mostly been about the timing. You will just know its the right time . ;) Doubts are not always a bad thing, however theres usually a reason for them, and perhaps the time isn't right just atm. All the best with whatever you decide. Only you both can make that decision :)

Hi Janet, Im one of those people. And also on top of that we had to wait to see if we were chosen from our breeder's list (we knew we high up on the list) and had to wait till she decided which one she wanted to keep for herself. We got there in the end thats the main thing ! 3 weeks to go Sounds like Russell is a dream come true and a real pleasure ! Thanks for the update cRc I hope your girl can get some relief soon. Must be a bit painful for her I have a friend thats does osteolign on our two from time to time, altho they don't really need much work done which is good especially now they getting older.

Ours have had similar type reactions after defleaing them, especially if we have given them capstar tablets. (if there are fleas around) Please keep us undated what the vets says. hope its nothing too serious.

Some heart murmurs are very hard to be picked up by vets. Renae has a very mild one and unless I've pointed it out, most vets have not ever felt it ! (Shes 10) Our Cavalier club has a heart specialist come over from interstate once a year to check people's Cavs hearts properly. I believe there are a few different types and some are very hard to hear in the early stages ps sorry to hear about your Colleague's puppy's heart

Well you still have one more week more to go than me Sujo ! ;-) It is exciting meeting the breeder and their dogs! hope all goes well with your visit tomorrow !:) We'd love to go again as we are welcome too, but its just that its a fairly long drive to her place

Thank you minyyvlz ! :D They were 7 weeks old last Tues, so I will probably add more pics to her blog at some stage soon :) Very close now Ellis !!! Its probably more nervewreaking as it gets to this point ! Hope he has a safe and smooth flight and drive home x

Awwww shes gorgeous !! We are about to add a third (a puppy) to our family. I anticipate no real problems, as cavs usually get along pretty well. We had a foster dog at one stage and they got along well with her, if anything she was the dominant one. I think you are supposed to feed the dogs you have already first to keep the pack pattern or something I was told. I saw a cute funny Frenchie pic on fb, I will share it in here. Its one of those fwd sharing ones getting around. Im sure you will appreciate it :)
