  1. I had one of our silky terriers xrayed 3 weeks ago, one big pup vet told me. Opted for the csection as vet said there was a likelyhood of contractions starting but not strong enough to push pup out. We ended up with one very BIG boy, mum and pup doing well now. Good luck!! Anky
  2. Car parking is tight, the car park is blocked off due to building works. I did see some cars on the oval though.

  6. Keeping my fingers crossed for a good result, don't know what else to say except that I'm feeling for you both at this stressful time.
  7. If that was me I would report them, but that may be because we have just lost 3 ducks to foxes. I hate what they do to chickens etc, I've seen lambs with their tongues eaten out. Anky
  8. Our sheltie used to get car sick, she would be yellow with drool by the time we got to a show. Sway suggested we feed her ginger nut biscuits on the way home, one for her, one for us lol. No more sickly yellow drool from then on. We did go through two whole packets of biscuits though lol. Anky
  9. My silky terriers like nothing better then chasing and catching rats or mice, once caught and killed they lose interest. They are just in it for the chase and kill, never had a dog eat one yet. Let her go I say, do what she was bred for originally!
  10. Great news, I must admit I had my doubts that he would be found safe and well

  18. Derryn might not have time to do too much since he has announced that he is fighting liver cancer and is expected to have a big operation on Friday. I wish him the best even though he is not one of my favourite radio announcer. Anky
  19. If anyone needs a foster mum my silky bitch whelped yesterday by C-section, result one pup! Heaps of milk and she is a really good mum. I would prefer a small breed but her sister has raised a Sibe and a Dobe successfully. I am in Ballarat.
  20. The xray showed one very large pup so we decided for her to have the op and get him out. We are now the proud grandparents of one very large dog pup, mother and son doing great!! Grandparents broke once again lol. Puppy weighed in at 7 1/2 oz which is huge for a silky! Vet said there was no way she was going to be able to push it out so I'm glad we did it. Anyone need a foster mum???
  21. Yep, can do. Its taken a few goes years of selective breeding but if its non shedding and attitude to spare I give you. The Teacup Staffordshire Pit Mastiff Plenty of go in these little buggers.. look at it having to be held back!! Ooh I want one of those but have you got one that doesn't need grooming as I just don't have time for that!!
  22. Nothing yet, she's been nesting for 24 hours now, no pushing! Took her to vet who did ultrasound and he can only find one pup! Going for xray at 1.30pm. Keeping fingers crossed there is more then one huge pup in there,
