Disgusting things, I hung one in a tree couple of weeks ago. Forgot all about it until I was mowing and knocked it with my face, the smell was horrendous :p

I clip off my silkys just not the ones I am showing. It makes them more comfortable I think, not that they need it today, pouring here and only 8 degrees. Doesn't seem like it's nearly Christmas

Yap I feel your pain but you need to seek help now! I lost my hubby 10 years ago, thought at the time nothing would ever make me feel better again. I went to my GP and he admitted that things could have been done better by the specialist and apart from counseling he suggested I write the specialist a letter to tell him how I felt. Putting it down on paper was so much easier then having to face him. Write the vet a letter, tell him how you feel, even if you don't send it, it will make you feel better.

No hesitation, straight to the vet!

Im sorry but if one of my dogs had this problem I think I would have them PTS. The poor dog doesn't need to suffer any longer. That's the only advice I can give.

Iv'e had more fights then feeds on our local buy, swap and sell with people who are breeding cross bred puppies or are planning on letting their bitch have just one litter because it's the dogs right? Some people just wont listen or choose not too.

My bitches eat Pal puppy food and dry Advance puppy. They all love it and eat everything, better to eat something then nothing at all.

Big difference between having allergies and having the occasional itch I think. Can't help you pebbles but I would check with the vet first.

A few years ago I was selling a litter of pups, one of the buyers rang another breeder and was told not to buy from me because I was nothing but a puppy farmer. It was my first litter in over 18 months. The people did buy a pup from me (that is when I found out about the rumour) Other breeder got a very heated email from me and I haven't spoken to her since. At most I breed about 3 litters a year. Shame some people can never say anything nice about other breeders.

I use this method when teaching young pups, certainly no harm done, in fact it makes them relax when done properly, not like the judge did in the video!

Every Min Pin I've known gets fed in their crates, every Chi I've ever known has wanted to eat me Even baby Chi's hate me lol

I saw that too. If that was my pup I would have picked him up and walked out of the ring. Can't imagine any show person putting up with that behavior from a judge. She should have been reported, probably ruined a nice puppy for life. Poor little dog didn't even want to walk back to her. Disgusting!!!! And NO it is not normal for a judge to act like that.

Why not feed them good size rib bones, that's what mine get to chew on and never a problem

Australian silky terriers are low alergic dogs, I've sold puppies to people who have allergies and they have never had a problem. Silkys hair is the same PH level as human hair so guess that is why. Very robust little dogs that love to run, play as well as sleep on your knee.

Awwww so cute, the only trouble with silkys is that they all just look like little black blobs so hardly worth putting up a pic of them

I feed my bitches Pal Puppy Food, yeah I know disgusting but lots of calcium and they like it so while they are eating it makes me feel good

Well after a very long night and lots more ripping of paper Secret finally decided to deliver the goods, Mind you she took her time about it, first female born at 8.45pm second female born at 10.10 pm. I stayed there until 12.30, cleaned her up, changed bedding and went to bed. At 2.30am I got up to check, all well mum and bubs asleep, got up at 7.30 and went to check again...........3 pups??? Little boy was born at some stage, I could have sworn she was finished, just goes to show.

Secret is busy tearing up paper and nesting but does she have to shred the lot? Even the paper in the puppy pen is shredded, overkill I call that.
