I have never noticed any difference in the burying rate of the sexes. here it IS however , noticeable with individuals. Some bury with a few nosefuls of dirt /blanket /sticks , some guard fiercely without burying , some excavate and make a cellar room !

Well - he's clearly a poo head. With bad eyes. :)

Pups' ears do change, the same as the rest of their body :) .. he is nowhere near teething yet - that's a few months away . I presume you have spoken with his breeder about your concern ?

Unless he is urinating a LOT and very often .. I wouldn't panic . he is young, very active,and on dry food . he also has a decent coat , so would be warm . yes, by all means ask the vet - but NEVER restrict water unless it is to benefit a diagnosed condition . :)

Sounds dreadful - soo sorry > ours had open pyo , and recovered very well , so I cannot offer much insight. hope all goes well for your girl .

last night, I awoke at some stage - and I felt around for Miss Molly .. She was a tight little ball, like a rolled-up echidna! ;) ( she has a feather doona and sheepskin bed ) ..so she got covered over with a sheet ... Don has a bed in a corner ..with pillows etc - and he has heaps of coat! The cat lies either behind my knees , or on me somewhere ... *sigh* maybe we all should just pile up on my bed!!

do a search for online vet /pet supplies :) I have no idea what's in the west! The vaccine needs refrigeration during shipping , too. Mind you- there may be a pet store/vet who you could buy from ...

PARVAC is a killed vaccine - it can be safely given to pregnant bitches . It can also be bought online and self administered in most states .

Perhaps get a pr. of thinning scissors and use on the feathers? that way there would still be some length - but with individual hairs different lengths , mats may not form as readily? As it only happens on one leg - is the leg on his underside when he lies down? does he lick/chew at that leg because of mild arthritic pain, perhaps ?
