Ideas On How To Set Up My Camera Bag Insides!
persephone replied to lovemesideways's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
I set up a bag so that everything fits snugly, and I can get it out easily ... Depends how much stuff you have ...extra lenses, batteries, filters, camera bodies, as to how many and what size compartments you need . It's a very individual thing , IMO ..a bit like kitchen cupboards! -

Oh. oops. -
It depends on the people.... they may have only just learned of the cat's being found ... a lot of folks give up quickly , thinking a pet has been run over ..esp if there is no chip ....

Unable To Keep Dog Thats Under A Contract
persephone replied to pinkpuppy's topic in General Dog Discussion
Not enough of anything for a high drive dog. What actual training do you do with her on a daily basis ? Have you thought about providing a secure run so the garden digging can not happen when you're away from home? Do you take her to obedience class, or work with a private trainer? Does she have interactive toys, like the 'home alone' things?Or others from THESE FOLKS ? They are excellent to give dogs something to do, and something to think about.. If she enjoys digging, have you thought of setting up a sandpit for her? bury treats in it..and let her dig There are lots of things you can try if you want to keep the dog ..and if you don't want to/can't do anything , then, yes, you did sign a contract. -
LOL @the eating of the lemon slices . She would have been grounded for a WEEK if she were here :p Glad she was OK.

just to clear this up HYPER excess/more HYPO less/under so , My guess is your results suggest hyPO thyroidism ..as in not enough of the hormones ..does that sound right? there are a few folks here who have had experience ... hope you get some help/advice soon

..if she is gurgling - I would think it likely the mix is fermenting nicely in her intestines ..not stomach ...hope she can get outside easily and quickly if it all turns to S*!t soon ......

just make sure she has enough to drink..NO heavy exercise ... and vet if she starts panting, looks really uncomfortable or tries to throw up . Tonight could be smelly and messy with all that milk& sugar working up into a lather! Hopefully she'll be OK.

I agree, Christina- I certainly can not understand it being a sport... Definitely!! Firearms however can not be used safely in many areas...

I'm in two minds about using dogs to help with dispatching pigs ... From what I've seen, and done .. it is MUCH preferable to poison/trapping ..but nowhere near as humane as a well placed chunk of lead travelling at great speed. Around here a lot of pig control is done with dogs ..as national parks etc do not allow firearms . There are people good at it..and 'cowboys' the good ones do a good service, their dogs enjoy the work , and are looked after - and pigs are killed as quickly as the method allows. The dogs are usually nice dogs .. a real mixed bag - mastiff/bullbreed/deerhound & who knows what else .They look pretty formidable in their 'armour' ! We have, on occasion, used our koolies as holders - a couple were excellent at it ..but obviously they could only be used on smaller animals . We never had any injured dogs, either. A koolie on each ear-- and a pig was going nowhere .... not ideal.. but when the person has no firearm ... and comes across pigs ..

Hi - may I suggest that for a few days- she gets NOTHING except her puppy kibble- unadulterated. NO wings, treats,fish.... Use the kibble as rewards, drop bits 'accidentally' on teh floor , feed her as normal... don't fuss about feeding ..just put it down..walk away , and pick up what's not eaten in ten minutes. NOTHING until next feed time. see how that goes ....
