  1. You have all done well... Thanks for the update... now, where are the photos??????????
  2. Good for you. Write/type everything down! Questions on flea treatment etc, pup's history.... remember...YOU are paying HIM.. He is there to answer your questions!
  3. yep A very common cause of allergic reaction... pups love to roll in it, and chew it
  4. Ok- two things, both related... Another vet would probably be MUCH more helpful!! (and knowledgable) AND When you take her to the NEW VET in a few days..... tell them this fact!!! The pups may well have a low grade bacterial/yeast parasite load, transferred from the mother. please find another vet who will work on what you have told us. Don't fuss around at home ... it may not be allergy related at all.... or- it may be an inherited allergy, and the mother's condition could be the result of an untreated case I hope you get something sorted soon .
  5. She should be fine with the Ab's now She will maybe sleep a bit more- this is good, means she can fight off the infection.
  6. Under 200 kb have fun!!........and breathe!!
  7. Hi- try THIS try different 'quality settings' until you get what you want it's my choice (when I don't use picasa ) there are lots of image resizers out there--- just find one which suits you!
  8. No idea- keep her cool, and good luck at the vet tomorrow... puppy acne?
  9. So sorry.. :hugs: Hoping that you get answers tomorrow, and that your dear old boy is comfortable tonight.
  10. I have not dealt with them- however I do not think they are qualified to best help you and your dog with this fear/nervousness.
  11. A fairly stressful experience for her Have you been working in conjunction with a professional trainer/dog psycholgist/behaviourist- whatever they are called over there? If not, please book an appointment. You could benefit from some one on one professional advice about now- to keep improvements happening!
  12. Oh dear But I have to @ the werewolf suggestion!! URK. Hope he returns to normal sleeping soon,. for all your sakes
  13. she would put weight on eating maccas too! cooked chicken and rice, while useful for sensitive stomachs/invalids- is not a dog food, really! Your dog would probably benefit more from a higher proportion of red meat/bones/ a selection of fatty meat cuts to keep her weight up ....UNLESS she has ongoing health problems . Chicken can be fed- raw... as can fish.

    Puppy Poop-

Ok- so the vet just said it may have been worms? Hopefully her immune system will handle the vaccination ok- and continue to improve!
  15. it could also be the hotter weather, making her restless....
  16. Hi. Hope your pup recovers quickly and fully :D I don't know much about meningitis---- but would assume that an infection so close to the brain could instigate some change in behaviour.. due to inflammation/swelling, putting pressure on parts of the brain? What did the vet say about these behaviours? I would be getting him some kongs,etc- and filling them and freezing them, so he can occupy himself without needing walk/active play as much... he may be well be responding to loss of freedom... but it may also be due to the disease... sorry, can't help any more.
  17. Oh :D I guess IF the breed is predisposed, or that 'family' has had problems- then, feeding a lower fat diet would be the way to go Boy---- many years ago- when money was tight, and droughts etc... our dogs were fed on fat... melted down, with stale bread mixed in!!! and survived til better times
  18. Oh-- so they tuck tails 'under' and sit that way? LOL funny little bricks they are!
  19. Sure it's not a fungal/bacterial infection? May be worth getting it looked at-the skin may be permanently damaged- or she may need some meds to help! Hope she is hairy soon! :D
  20. I am SO glad to hear all that wonderful news You must be feeling so much more relaxed ,yourself ! LOL.. with no valium
  21. I know exactly how you feel--- pigs are very companionable, aren't they? he did well, and I'm so sorry his body couldn't take the heat wave
