I asked a fellow exibhitor to trim one of our dogs feet for the up coming champ show. His comment do not worry the English Judges like them with snow shoes. I will do it after the show.

I young pup should not have a lot of exercise on hard surface eg. concret ashfalt etc. Walking on grass or grass off lead is okay. No jumping off high things. All this is to protect the growth plates of the developing leg bones. Applies to any dog not only GSD's.

Ohh, sounds promising sign. More puppies .... Yep my mop are all good, putting on weight, little blk/tan is 190grm tonight. Her bigger sister is 345grms, a monster compared to the wee little blk/tan sister but at least they are all gaining. It's bloody cold here today but they seem to be happy sleeping/ feeding with no complaints. Good news re the wee b/t girlie. :D

Miloch how devastating. :) I was talking to a breeder at a show on Sunday and she was talking about liver shunt. She stated that it is in a lot of breeds and the common thing is a fit amd well dog up and dies. It always put down to heart. Did the vet do an autopsy???
