  1. I do not have a problem with workers showing. As others have stated they do all the hard work why should they miss out. In the country its harder as there are less shows. Take out recent Cav Champ show. The committee showed, they are long term committe members so would have missed out for a number of years. No contact with the judges until the end of day 2. It wasa husband and wife team and neither watched the judging of the other until the end of the second day.
  2. My girl Wil had her last litter at 8 yr 11m. and as you know people still can not believe she is 15. Her previous litter did not give me the right sex and colour, all blenheims and I wanted a tri. Got the tri girl in the last one. No problems whelping and an excellent mother, actually took on the pups from the hopeless mother who whelped 4 days later, until she found her sealegs. Reckon I would have lost most of the other litter if it had not been for Wil.
  3. I was able to watch it but the sound was not existent despite being turned up.
  4. I do not havea problem with someone asking up front for price, after we do it all the time when we shop and price not obvious. I state price and what that includes and if the say its to much I say thank you for your call.
  5. Interesting they only keep the DNA for 10 years.
  6. Congratulations on all the new bubs. RIP to the lost ones.
  7. Jed you are absolutley amazing putting up such beautiful tributes to your gorgeous dogs while your heart is breaking. Big
  8. Been busy showing on the weekend so have just caught. Vid would not load may have been the work computer so will try at home. Jed the Lithuanian Goat herder disguised as a Black and Tan won best Black and Tan coat on Sunday but bombed on Monday because she did her trade mark back flips instead of wagging her tail on Monday. Keep strong Jed. Thank you for sharing the pics and thoughts on your dogs.
  9. I hope the rmaining puppies do well Monteba.
  10. Its a state issue. In Vic all have to go ito the breeders name then be transfered later.
  11. Leeanns Jackson got best in Open Show I think Champ Was Silky Tommy and RU I think a pug no idea whose.
  12. Well done Hounder and to the Jocobites as well.
  13. BB correct me if i am wrong but I thought that the Cavalier didn't require trimming at all?(sry slightly off topic!) I enter under most internationals... however I know which countries i have a better chance with based on my dogs type... but i still find most internationals will give you a fair go and in most circumstances, they take different types into consideration and follow the ANKC standards. If they have to much leg feathering they look as though they are down on their pasterns. Some people keep the feet clipped but I like some slippers. Do trim between the pads though otherwise they slip. ahh sod it just get a Xoloitzcuintle then there is nothing to clip, shave, buff, powder, poof up, comb, brush, hairspray, tie up, tease but best of all I can run with two free hands ( I mean I would look slly with a hairbrush now wouldnt I!) Maybe I should run around the ring with some baby oils!! ;) :D :D ;)
  14. Jed the realisation you had to face when you came to is unimaginable. So often I have read posts and cried and now yours. :) Our furkids are with us for such a short time in the big scheme, but they give us so much unconditional joy, having to come to terms with their loss would be nigh on impossible. Stay strong Jed and heal.
  15. Well your dog would just have to sit on the balcony and suffer then, wouldn't it. That is irrelevant. And you don't know if the dog was suffering, you just assume that. It is OK to report it if you think there's something wrong, but that's it. Driving by and spying on the people is way to far. IMO of course, I realise you don't agree with me. Hello she lives up the street so has every right to drive past.
  16. Maybe a body could not be brought back but an alive dog can.

  18. Fantastic news Jed that you are able to at least read. to you and the furkids. Your grieving will take time as you have to stay strong to heal. The Lithuainan Goat Herder is slipping in to the Cav Champ shows over the weekend dressed as a black and tan. Grabs a croissant on the way out.
  19. All Royals have a 2 month lead time so you have to be organized.
