Who was BOB and RUBOB??

Well that advert reflects the very sad state of literacy in Australia. All because the absolute f*))_*(_(+_ education system where a kid is pushed up to the next class regardless of ability to perform the tasks required.

Whelping Essentials And Birthing "intervention"

Never to early with the whelping box. :D  :D Another good book is Karen Hedberg's. None of my cavs have ever gone off food before whelping. -
Unfortuantaley the Victorain legislation is slack in regards to ensuring breeders microchip their pups. So all sorts of excuses are used, to small it hurts etc etc. I responsible breeder will microchip when vaccinated. IMO My other beef is that the breeders details are not kept as a third option by the registrar

Are the Black & Tans born with pink noses too???!!! So long sine I have had black and tan I can not remember what colour they are. Here is a ruby that had a blenheim father. Ruby's from Raker had a slightly darker colour BBJ has those photos.

Same here.. in Whippets everyone chips in. I've only got one dog so I usually help out with the larger show strings. I'll handle for anyone if it doesn't mean I have to rush my own dog. In Group 4 I've handled a Basset, a Beagle, a Borzoi. a Standard Smooth Dachsie, a Deerhound and multiple Whippets - fortunately not all at the same show. Pays to look down the lead before you start though.. not a good thing to be ready to run with a sighthound if you've got a Havanese on the end of the lead. I nearly launched poor Arkie at Bairnsdale last year.

From your Avitar I would say its a cocker. Shame cockers clash with cavs. BBJ is always available.

Dogs Victoria Wanting To Take More Decisions From Breeders.
Bilbo Baggins replied to Steve's topic in Breeders Community
As far as cavs go there is no change. So I have no probelm for my breed. BUT what is the impact on others. -
As long as it is dry while we are unloading. ;) Didn't the door blow in last year???

Yes, Gerry was very nice and reasured me all the semen he recieved is under lock & key and tanks being topped up. He has promised to check the paperwork tonight, as at this point there is no record of ours. I'm very p*ssed at GTpets though, it seemed like I was enquiring about a toaster, not irreplaceable breeding material. was very 'nice' of gt to let us know our semen had been moved. Just had an email from GT in VIC, they won't recieve the QLD FP files until later in the week and will investigate further when they arrive. all fingers crossed. fifi Wow not good.
