Pepper became 3rd in unregistered with 166 points, leavink Kyla behind who had 162. This is not true, as Frontline as Advantage the flea needs to be in contact for 20 min in order to be effected and die. Fleas don't have to bite at all. That's what makes both products so good for allergic dogs. Advantage does not say that in the directions for use. It said (and I quote): Advantage has been shown to kill adult and larval fleas within 20 min of contact by absorption via the flea intersegmental membranes. Stops fleas from feeding in 3-5 mijn. Fleas are not required to bite the animal to receive a lethal dose (end quote). I find the main difference with them is difference in coat. A dog with a woolly coat is better of using Advantage as it spreads better through a woolly coat than the Frontline. But as said before, both are good products.

Guessing but he might be scared as the lead (and thus security) are gone. Ask the owner about the stand of his ears, tail and general body (does he make himself big or small) also in any situation send them to obedience training so they get better control over the dog and the dog learns to trust its master. dont forget as a pack leader YOU have to protect the dog NOT the other way around!!!

My vet told me that if you don't have fleas Sentinal is good but if you have a flea problem to change to Advocat. Advocate is also roughly $10-$15 more expensive than Sentinal.

Never had any problems with them (yet). I rang them about 5 (different) times and they always got back to me or got to speak to an operator straight way....

Always contact Frontline to let them know!!!! their number is 1800 808 691 If they don't know they can not fix the problem!!!!

Instead of changing from the Frontline I advise you check where the recent outbrake is coming from. eg new cats in neighbourhood or new dogs ect. To test wether the Frontline works catch a few fleas, they should die within 24h provided they were on the dog longer than 20 min. And keep in mind neither Frontline nor Advantage are repellents!!!!

Why don't you want him inside while you work? Cause you kept him inside the first few days he thinks that is his den. Afteralll you are inside too!!!!! If you really want him outside, warn your neighbours it can take at least a week before he is more quiet. This providing YOU ignore him when he howls and show yourself (praise) if he is quiet. NOT the other way around. Give him lots of toys to play with but rotate them so he does not get bored with them. Give him a bone when you leave so he is occupide. good luck

By supervising and help the child pat the dog. Show the child how to pat with a flat hand, after that you hold the wrist while you help your child patting the dog. and say things like; that is good patting, nice flat hand, what is the doggy soft (curly, or whatever the dog feels like). Tell the child not to scream if a dog is near just by saying no the dog does not like it if you scream it will hurt it's ears. Will take a lot of repetition but child will learn....

There is always a (slight) risk that the vet damaged nerves and muscles, therefor you have a change of incontinence of urine and or feaces. Look for a vet who has done the op before, pref. multiple times so he/she is expierenced in it. Good luck
