The new Inverell livestock markets had a heap of pups in boxes turn up, I had to walk away...just couldn't bear it. and the local FB sell,swap & buy group is wall to wall byb I try to educate where I can, but either hostile or deaf ears. as someone said, it does feel like we are going backwards. fifi

If anyone can get them to Glen Innes /Armidale / Guyra from the coast, I'd be happy to do the newcastle trip with them. We have a van set up for giant breeds. Yes, I've seen several litters born after the nastiest looking discharge. All were treated with AB's, and all went onto whelp healthy litters. Of course have seen the opposite as well, as long as you & your vet are in close consult, and appropriate meds are being used for a possibly pregnant bitch. all fingers crossed for a healthy bitch and litter for you. fifi

Mooks, I 2nd Stormie, take your pup to a vet recommended by other giant breed people. There are many vets out there who opt for radical surgery in sometimes uncessary growth issues. Get it diagnosed first before you begin changing foods ect. You want to know exactley what you are dealing with, make sure you involve your breeder as they may have recomendations for vet or treatment. I've used large doses of vit C in the form of ascobic acid & sodium ascorbate, but again...get a diagnosis first up. fifi
