Ask her if she has a couple of thousand dollars or a full credit card !!! in case of an emergency ceasar, or other complications, and then time to raise a litter and funds to pay for their food & vaccinations ect !!! fifi

If it was a bitch I bred, I'd want to know. but be prepared for the backlash from your friend, I imagine she'll put two & two together and work out who it was. So unless you are able to deal with your friend's anger, and maybe thanks, or indiffernce or annoyance from the breeder, then don't go there. If you do, keep it factual, short and polite :-) ffi

when you have a boy that will howl the village / district down if left in a run when a girl is in season, or two dogs that REALLY dislike each other, then musical dogs becomes part of the rich fabric of life with entire dogs !!!! fifi

Okay, if they are showdogs then you do what so many do.......musical dogs !!!!! one into the laundry or other room, one out, when the music stops grab a dog and swap again !!!! AND....build nice runs with kenneling !! fifi

If you never plan on breeding them, then desex them. fifi

Hell's bells, I'm glad you've brought this to Dogsvic's attention Sway, I honestly can't remember sending any ID to the then RNSWCC, I guess the only ID they'd ever see would be copies of Pension cards for those entitled to the pension discount. It's a very good point, and especially in light of the dodgy one's being able to simply re-join under new names. I voted yes to ID being presented in person or certified copies if needed to be sent. fifi

Just had an unpleasant thought Warls, did you check your tow hitch, wheels ect ? If someone was evil enough to let your dog out, the same motivation could have seen them undo or loosen something :-( sadly, I have heard of this happening. You have to worry about someone who would take their competitive ego to such unspeakable acts on innocent dogs. fifi

Someone said to me very early on that the sane people in dog world are the people who have a life outside of dogs. Bit of a generalisation but I think there is definitely some truth to it. I totally agree with this, I see the one's on their mobiles at ringside getting constant updates from other shows, sniping & bitching about every dog & handler in the ring, they phone & email constantly in between shows and network furiously ! You don't see them smile very often - they are deadly serious about their shows. and while I understand to be the best you have to be dedicated - Some have very little to think about outside of dogs, and spend so much energy in verbal sabotage, gossip, criticism, plotting, ect. Ive found these types to be the bad losers. Guess if its your entire existance, not winning would be devastating. My passion is my breed and I enjoy some showing, especially our country shows with good friends. But I have a rich life of interests outside of dogs as well, and find my closest show buddies are similar in outlook. fifi
