  1. Ah Dry food, there is so many different ones you can try. I'm my experience I have one dog who prefers dry to anything else, but some he didn't like and some didn't agree with him, so after trying Proplan, eagle pack, science diet, advance, and the cheaper dog pro and supercoat. , we finally settled on Nutro and I decided to put mine all onto dry. It was good but pricey at $115 for 15 kilos which is fine but with 4 dogs that's a fair whack. I had heard of Black Hawk and looked into that and decided to try it and we haven't looked back. It agrees with all 4, great coats, great enery, great muscle tone, regular toileting (good consistency) and even better for a great food it's a great price. I'm not a distributer justa very happy customer! Good luck with whatever you choose for your pups. We tried Canidae once when we were away and ran out of black hawk and the dogs loved it as well, but it's a lot more expensive.
  2. For the ones who thing their dogs won't fit, a friend here in town (a DOLer actually) washes her Mastiff in one and he fits and he is huge!
  3. The tru blu dog washes are made right here in my town, I served one of the guys who owns tru blu at work one day and asked him if he'd make me one for my back yard. he said yea sure for a cool 17k
  4. If anyone is interested Prime pet foods is now stocking Black Hawk!
  5. Sherel, that's fab about Prime in Warrnambool! Will they be stocking the shampoo and conditioner range as well?
  6. Your babies are divine!!! I washed Lacy in the shampoo and conditioner today before we went off to do our Therapy Duties at the hospital and sooooo many people commented on how lovely her coat was and how absolutely soft and luscious it is. Definatley on a winner there Sherel, has anyone else here used the shampoo and conditioner yet?
  7. Wow how exciting, Lovely photo and the painting is just fabulous!
  8. Tanya, I'd love to see a pic of the big fella in the dog wash!
  9. This is my lot in a try blu dog wash.
  10. The tru blu ones are a minimum of $10 ( for 10 mins) usually, our new one is a minimum of $12. I bath all mine for $14.
  11. If it is a tru blu dog wash the dryers are set to a regulation temperature, I also find them too cold for my lot, I usually towel dry. I don't use the flea rinse as I found it made one of my girls itchy afterwards. I shampoo, then rinse, condition then rinse. I asked the owner of one of ours here in town about turning the temp on the dryer but he said they are not allowed as it had to be set to a regulation temp.
  12. Thats so great, I love to read about Stevies adventures.
  13. If only photography wasn't such an expensive past time! I looked at the D7000 but ended up buying a mirror less samsung nx11, I haven't picked up my Nikon D80 since I bought it. I really want to sell my Tamron lens (18 - 250) but after paying $800 and looking at them on ebay and realising they are only worth $400 its a bit hard to take. I have only used it about 5 times and now i really want to buy a 30mm for my Samsung! Anyway good luck.
  14. Can I be a sticky beak and ask what your upgrading too? This kit would definitely be awesome for someone wanting a DSLR and its a great price!
  15. You might get more lookers for this if you popped it in the market place as well.
  16. Jj have you met the owner? he seems like a lovely fella, not sure If I have told this story here but I will tell it again, I went to wash the dogs one day and had my $14 I always put an extra 2 in as it usually takes me about 12 minutes if they are dirty or we have been to the beach, which we had. But apparently I had put the money in to fast or something, like put the note in and then the coin before the note registered anyway it said I hadn't put enough money in so I put the other 2 in as well and still not enough, so here i am all dogs in the wash ready to go, no other money on me, not even any money in the car, so I rang the guy thinking he might be close by, but he was in Adelaide. he asked me what my address was and they he would catch up with me when he got home and that he was sorry apparently if is a bit of a fault with the machines and can happen occasionally. So I rang Sean and he was just on his way home from work and he dropped by with some extra coins to get us out of trouble. Anyway about a week later, 4 tokens (it could have been 3, I can't remember now) showed up in my letter box so our next few baths were free, which was great. I have found the mortlake rd one to be much cleaner than caramut rd too which is a bonus!
  17. Well that's weird? Obviously whoever looked up forgot to turn the sign off and take the board in.
  18. I don't do it a lot too, but occasionally I do on Facebook pics, I guess the txt tool would be easy enough. The new things in Picasa are great, I noticed there is still the option to edit via piknic, I though they had closed down? Maybe not yet?
  19. This sounds awesome!! I'm sure you will get massive amouts of people!
  20. I can see why your bro got out when he did, wise move! Hey have you got your croc yet?
  21. I always upload my pics to a folder in my pics first, then open picasa and they auto import, so I still keep my originals in tact and can export and edited ones as I do them. I use iPhoto and lightroom the same way. I couldn't figure out how to do a fancier watermark.
  22. I totally agree, I wouldn't work for the in an iron lung, I don't even go in there any more, I used to go in on occasion in the hope they had lifted their game but no such luck! Don't even know how they are still trading!
  23. They did have a play, one of mine played a bit of chasey and he took off tail between his legs. he was very cute! Well done Solly! If only it wasn't a pet goods direct! Has anyone heard any more about what's going in Clive Peters old building?
  24. OMG as plain as the nose on my face! Wala Ok can I make the watermark a bit fancier?
