A Fantastic Achievement For An 11 Yr Old Girl
tlc replied to dezzyno.1's topic in General Dog Discussion
Well done, great achievement! -
Awww thats so cute, hope your neck is feeling better soon. I was putting vicks on myself the other night and two little curious noses had to come for a sniff and boy did they take off in a hurry! Im attempting to go back to work today, 5 hour shift this arvo, so my lot won't know what to do with themselves as I have been home every day for nearly 2 and a half weeks. I'm sure they will just sleep the day away like usual.

I'm with you too Shan, don't worry me and Mick Chatta and CB have tried with those FB pages but it is like banging your head up against a brick wall!! one lady that enquired about getting a boxer the very next day was giving her own 8 month old dog away as she couldn't deal with him and her boyfriend hated the dog and couldn't stand the mess the dog made. The thing that gets me about a lot that frequent these sites asking for help on what to do with thier unruly dogs all it would take is a bit if training and excersise to get the poor dogs on the right track! Some give away/sell thier dogs then a week later are on their asking for another one! It really is a stuffed up world when it comes to things like that!!

Fab shots!! Just gorgeous!!

Well that's gone quick, photos??

Great shots Huga, hope Sid is on the improve! Your right it is hard going and getting sick is just the straw that broke the camels back! Still got a long way to go to get better so it's one less thing I have to think about.

Hey Maws, I noticed on one of the Facebook buy swap and sell pages the other day a whole litter of white boxers for sale, did you see them? Page is here if you wanna have a look http://www.facebook.com/groups/113751518674170?ap=1 $1000 each!

Gorgeous comfy snoozy pic of Riley.

Re: peas that makes a lot of sense, our old dog loved his veges and always got veges (left overs ) with his nightly meal and my OH always commented on the poop patrol about the whole peas! another funny thing was our old boy never ate caulie, we would even try to disguise it and it would be the only thing left in the bowl every time, untouched!

Poor little Sid, hope he is feeling better soon.

Thats fantastic, they really do make such a difference to the patients and the staff love it as well. I havent been for a few weeks as I have had Whooping cough, so I have to stay away for myself and the patients. But the girls absolutley love it, both very different with the patients, Tully is made for it and Lacy is like a little Paris Hilton, she thinks everyone is there for her. Sorry for the railroad. Keep up the good work! -

Fantastic job! Hows Dezzy going with his Delta Duties? Good luck for Monday! -
What Sheena said, I use their regular kibble ( black hawk) and mix in PB or CC and usually add left overs if there is any, veg, roast, sausage, just depends what's on hand at the time. I'll occasionally split a slice of cheese 4 ways for something different.

What bad luck, I was only just relaying a similar story to another DOLer this morning. All 4 of mine were at the dog park and just and we spotted a dog they usually play with, as soon as they greeted him he started coughing, I asked the owner how long he had had the cough for and he said a couple of days, elderly owner and had no idea about KC, anyway I popped mine in the car to go home and by the next day two of them were coughing, not bad enough to go to the vets, however I rang the vet to see if they needed any meds and he said unless it turns into a secondary infection keep them quiet and it should clear up by itself which it did. The other two dogs didn't catch it. Fingers crossed yours don't get it but it is definatley a possibility!

oh they are soooo cute, great shots! -
Oh Gayle, so sad My heart is breaking for you guys. do you know what caused the kidney disorder?
-
What a cheeky girl, hope she is ok. One of mine is a sock thief, (he doesn't eat them just runs with them. ) if I am desperate to get it off him, I bring out the treats and he drops it and is at my feet within seconds. Its a good trick if you want them to comply, food always seems to work if they are keen.
