Just thought I'd throw my thoughts in re: excessive drinking on BH. All 4 of mine drink more on BH than they did before but I find it is generally only after they eat their dinner which is only BH, around half hour after food they all drink a huge amount and then they resume normal drinking activity for the rest of the night and next day. So for mine I wouldn't say excessive drinking more like they need a good drink after they have had their daily feed. I never noticed this on other foods and we have tried, barf, cooked meat, veg, etc also dry only including pro plan, EP, Nutro and Canidae. All 4 of mine are doing well, too well, I've changed them all to the light variety, one of my girls could stay on the regular but I don't want to have to buy two lots like I have been doing so she will get extra. All got good healthy shiny coats and lots of energy, and touch wood Cooper has had no blood in his urine for months which the vet thought could hav been caused by bladder crystals.

So to be clear, a MWF lives in water and a Salamander lives on land? Thats amazing!

Beautiful photos everyone, I've stopped for the time being, my step day passed away 3 weeks ago, he had cancer so it's been tough on the family. The dogs have been a great comfort but I just haven't had it in me to pick up the camera. I might join in again soon. Still loving everyone's pics! Keep up the good work.

Ok so I'm in the dark, derrrrr I thought MWF were the same as a salamander, please explain difference? I'd google but would prefer to hear from the expert. ;)

The weirdest little dog comment I have heard directed at me ( and I don't consider my dogs little, more medium sized) was out for a walk one day and a guy walked past and said gee 4 dogs why didn't you just get one really big one. He was serious!

What a champ! Well done Riley. Hope the test results are all ok. I went through similar with Cooper a month or two back and his was a lyphoma, and like Riely was such a good boy!

Out of curiosity how long have you had the dog? What breed is it and is there any other reason apart from the barking and destroying the back yard that you want to return the dog? There has already been a few suggestions here and I'm sure there would be lots more suggestions if you needed them, to enable you to keep the dog.
