  5. Those shots of Chester are lovely. The ones I posted were to the extreme I thought. I understnad now that there is a varying range that you can do in HDR. Originally I thought they were all to the extreme. Since this thread I have seen some lovely shots. Blue Staff I did see your thread, your shots were nice.
  6. RJ has been about she posted in my WGS thread last night. Just think she doesnt love us anymore Hey Jj, thanks so much for your donation! It's funny all the donations I have got so far are from dog people!! Dog people are good people. :D Not a good day for pics Tenties so overcast and misty here just hope its not raining by 4.30. WIll see you then.
  7. Kja, love Dora on the dunes! She has such a sweet face. LL, love the perspective on your shot. DA, fabulous shots, love the kitty serenading the roses.
  8. Anyone looking for cheap doggy beds, the round kind? They are 60cm across and are the round donut type. $5.99 at Lincraft. Tenties what did you decide about tomorow arvo are we a goer for Albert park at 4.30? let me know when you can as I will plan morning doggy activities instead of arvo ones as I also have to do my Delta run in the afternoon too.

  10. Thanks for the suggestions, I will pass them onto my friend.
  11. I love love love having 4 and think I could easily and successfully have 5 but in the Interest of wanting to stay married 4 is my limit, well OH's limit He loves the dogs but they are mine in most senses of the word, I feed, train care for, groom, etc. He just plays with them. Financially 4 is good for us, we have no kids so have money for decent food, vet bills, good grooming equipment etc..... I also only work part time so the rest of my time is mainly devoted to my dogs and thier needs. I guess it really depends on the persons situation, how much time, room and money they have.
  12. Thanks for all the replies!! So the ants would make the dog sick? I think she is still thinking of feeding the food but I wasn't so sure she should so that's why I thought id post.
  13. My friend just got a new 20kg bag if dog food delivered, she popped it in her shed on Thursday and went away for the weekend and got home on Monday, she went to open the dog food to put it in her tub and it was full of ants, she found a tiny hole in the bag so this is where the ants would have got in and there was 100s of them. (don't know how bag got hole in it, probably in transit and pick up.) Has anyone had this happen and if so how did you get rid of the ants? Would the food still be any good if the ants have been/still are in the food?
  14. I walk all 4 of mine all together on lead and off. I have a ezy dog lead that has 4 lead attachments. So the main lead has a handle and the end is like a normal clip and I can attach up to 4 shorter leads to it. It's great but if I am doing a long on lead walk I prefer to have them all on separate leads so I can have 2 each side.
  15. 4.30 should be good for me too, I will make sure I'm done with the hospital by then and I'll head up. The log jumps are still there, they will make great shots. I have one of my 4 on the big log jump and I loved it so much I have it A4 size on my wall and use it for my screen savers. I'm thinking 50mm lens will get some good shots of your guys, there are only little so I can get in nice and close. Do you know what size you need the photo to be for the publication. If you need them full size I'll have to email the best of them one at a time as each pic will be over 2mb. Don't know where the others have got too? I'm still waiting to see RJs pics too. If anyone is feeling like doing a good deed and wants to sponsor my brave shave adventure, have a looky here http://my.leukaemiafoundation.org.au:80/pe...rationID=380743 At this stage the shave will be either the 11th or 12th March, instore at Bunnings. Tonight I got my first sponsor so that was really exciting!
  16. I definatley think you should go to Shells! I love to see your shots every day, I will miss them! So many great shots today from the last few days. Kja love the dally with your friend, your beaches look lovely. I had a hard time deciding today, I came home from work at 6 and realized I had not taken a pic all day so I went outside with the doglets and shot a few, it's amazing what random spur of the moment shots you can come up with. I liked this shot DSC_0062 by CLTB, on Flickr thought this one was funny, It was a total fluke I just popped her ball on the top of the dog run and she spotted it. ;) Gimme my ball back! by CLTB, on Flickr but this one was my favorite 45/365 Bright Eyes by CLTB, on Flickr
  17. This is the first year that I have been married and haven't got a valentine ;) I guess the novely wears off after 20 + years!!!
  18. What Nekbet said. All of mine started at 8 weeks. At the training school I volunteer at, with SBT and a most other breeds they do benefit from early training and socialization.
  19. We had our old dog (gone to the bridge now) desexed at 8 and it was only due to the fact that he developed a cancer so the vet thought it best to remove the cancer and desex him at the same time. The only difference in him that we noticed was he put on a little bit of weight but that was about it. It didn't alter his personality at all. After the cancer scare he lived till he was 16. The vet said one of the reasons for the cancer was that he wasn't desexed? I'm not sure how they can tell or if this is even true.
