Well I hope you get to bring home something new too! I won't be able to go for a walk after Bunnings at this stage either unless I make a miraculous recovery between now and then but I highly doubt it. The Dr has give me till the 17th off work ( if im alright by then) and confirmed I have a prolapsed disc. (which I already knew) She did however say that due to me being able to be on my feet for small a amounts of time she would like me to have small periods out of bed to strengthen my back for when I have to go back to work. So at this stage If im up to it on Sunday i will still go to Bunnings and hope to be able to take some pics. I'll take Sean to help me!

Beautiful shots today. About using flickr for posting pics here, I cant for the life of me work it out, there was another thread and I followed it to the letter and still couldn't get it to work. It would be much easier as I upload to PB the. I upload to flickr. So if anyone can explain it in easy terms I would be eternally grateful!

Well I'll look forward to it, but there is not much more I can do to strengthen the dam thing up. The problem is progressively getting worse and I have to be so careful what I do, this time it has been a combination of lots of little things I've done over the last couple of months, but you have to live your life hey!! I'm sure I'll be ok in a couple of day and will have to be very careful what I do in the next few months and ongoing to stop it happening again. I haven't had an episode like this for around 18 months but the last time was worse, I couldn't walk at all then. It's a hard injury too because when you say to people oh I've hurt my back, they have no idea unless they have experienced a bulging disc (and more) they just cannot understand the type of pain you go through. It's not just like a pulled muscle where you can just get on with things, you literally just can't do anything your body will not let you. Gee sorry whinge whinge from me, ive had a very bad day today, hopefully tomorrow will be better!!

Today was one of my days off so i dont need cert till/for tomorrow. app at 3, hopefully ill be mobile enough by then to sit in the car. i do feel slightly better tonight but still flat out. So frustrating not being able to do anything!! fingers definatley crossed for Sunday!

Well hubby is out washing windows and i am still flat on my back, no better. off to dr tomorow, which is waste of time i know what i have to do but i need to get cert for work. Hope i feel better enough for Sunday or the show will have to go on without me how was your outing last night?

Well luckily I was only supposed to work today for 4 hours and have tomorrow off anyway, so I rang in. Hopefully I'll be right to go by Friday. I can lay on the bed as long as I have my feet elevated to relieve the pressure off the bad disc. stupid thing is It feels fine till I move Sounds like FSH will be a winner today! Have a nice time, bet the kids are enjoying it!

Mmmmmm I'm wondering if it could possibly be Flagstaff hill? The back thing is a pain in the arse and ongoing as I have a buggered disc which just decides at the most inopportune times to go ka-put!! It's not as bad this time as it has been in the past, I can walk just but look like I'm about 150 years old. Fingers crossed a few days out flat and I'll be right to go on with things.

How's everyone today, I am really not happy, can't get out of bed to do anything really, hurt my back. I'm hoping a couple of days flat out will sort it out! Thank god for medication!! And puppies to keep me company. And a big bed so they can all fit on with me!

I have taken some pics with my iPhone today ( from my bed )but it's all I can manage as my back has decided to give me grief and I can't stand upright so might have to post them when im Feeling better.
