  1. Just watched Elbie, love the end bit where he comes to the door! His poor bed
  2. I have videoed my lot but only for the duration of the camera battery which was about two hours. It was the most boring two hours worth of video ever but I'm glad it was because that was the whole point, they slept the whole time the video was running! All I did was set the camera up in a far point of the area they are in when left home alone and it caputured the entire couch where they slept and some of the floor area.
  3. Hi Tez, he seems back to his normal self today but still off his food, I offered him his food a couple of times through the day and he did eat a tiny amount. we did have a quiet day today just hung around at home and I had to work this evening. I have to work tomorow too so he has really had a good few restful days which I don't think hurts every now and then. As you know when were out and about they do go pretty hard off lead so I don't mind a few easy days! How about you Any side effects from falling out of bed?
  4. what a time you have had falling out of bed that's funny but ouch!! Poor CJ has had a rotten day, he's been asleep for most of the day and he has been sick 4 times so the sedative did not agree with him, he did venture off the bed tonight briefly to say hello to Shannon and Giorgio who were visiting. I'm Hoping he will be a lot brighter tomorrow!
  5. Thanks Lizzie! Well the vet visit went as well as expected with CJ, the seed was way down in his ear and the vet got it out but not till after she had to sedate him which I knew would be on the cards. She thought she would try that first before doing a full GA. He was very good and she got it out and he had to stay there for half hour to wake up fully but when he did and I wasn't there he went really cranky. So when I got back I had to go get him out of his cage, needless to say he is not even looking at me now. We have been home for about and 1 1/2 hours and he is still asleep on my bed under the air con.
  6. Gorgeous boy, love your siggy, reminds me I must get to and start my xmas pics!!
  7. Thanks Lisa, ha ha I can imagine Dezzy getting all excited! It is great to see people who are sick get a kick out of seeing the dogs. I think I'll relax after next week once Lacy has done her first visit and I know she will cope ok.
  8. I loved that pic of Tully to I think I just snapped it at the right time! RJ, hope your feeling better! I'm off to the vets in the morning with CJ I'm pretty sure he has either a whole or part of a grass seed in his ear. I see it but it had disappeared before could get a hold of it. I was kicking myself, and he is so tetchy about his ears there is no way the vet will be able to look in without some sort of sedation. I'm so mad with myself for not being able to get it out and having to put him through the ordeal at the vets!
  9. CM, your lot definatley look pleased to be home! Nice happy shot. Cherlee, look at your gorgeous kids getting blown away by the wind, thats so cute how they are huddeled together. RA, lovely shot, your girls are lovely!! A quick recent shot from me.

  12. All good I have iPad!! Jess no virus protection necessary for the iPad, I have had a case and screen protector on mine since new. I got a couple pf cheap cases from bay under $10 and a ldi had them a while ago to for $9.95 they really are great, easy to use, quick to start. Great to lay in bed with watch tv on, use as iPod and so much more. I have used my net book only once since ive got my iPad.
  13. Awwwww that is soooo cute, Pia has her very own kitty!!
  14. I just came here to post about our visit today and seen your post, that's fantastic news for you guys, you will love it. I hope you can keep us updated with how you go. Maybe we could keep this thread for occasional updates. I took Tully today for our first visit and she was fantastic, I was so proud of her, the patients loved her and it seemed like she even knew what she was there for! One of the patients got really upset and cried and cried, as she was missing her own dog it was very sad, that part is going to be really hard for me I hate seeing people really upset but hopefully I will find a way to deal with it. All in all it was a fantastic visit and the staff were all fantastic about us being there.
  15. Oh I did say I was going to pop pics up but I didn't even turn the pc on today actually haven't had it on for about 3days. I will definatley pop a couple up tomorow and in the next couple of days hopefully will have a couple of shots from a lady that took a couple at the hospital. Tez after todays visit I reckon Gus would be fantastic! I was really blown away by how good Tully was like she knew why she was there. I'm looking forward to seeing how Lacy is next week.
  16. The slug, glad she is doing well. Do you think you will keep her or does she have a home? We must have been posting at the same time, see my post above your re visit!
  17. Great idea for a thread huga, I love my pana and still use it a bit for the more dirty outings, dogs, beach etc. Will pop some pics up soon. Nice shots everyone! Edited to add, just curious for the ones who have panasonics what models do you have?
  18. Well the visit was fantastic, Tully and Mawson were a big hit with patients and staff, we were very proud doggy owners indeed. I have a couple of photos I will pop them on after work tonight.
  19. Hi guys, very quiet in here! Tully and I are off for our first hospital visit this morning. Mawson is also doing his first visit here as well. Will be back later to let you know how it went. Hey Tenties how's the pup doing?
  20. Lovely happy looking dogs, welcome to the forum.
  21. What breed of dog is she? Is it possible that it is not her breath but her facial fur around her mouth? Coated breeds will often get food etc on their faces while eating and if it stays there and goes stale it will smell....just a thought. Are her teeth ok? A rotten tooth will be smelly too. Dogs can eat cat food but cats should not eat dog food? I specifically asked the vet due to my oldest when he was younger was sick and the only thing he would eat was cat food.
  22. Great to hear your back in the land of the living Jess and you and the girls had a good time!
  23. I think I tend to agree with this well in my case any how, My youngest does this when we come home, he will go to the toy box and grab something or if there is a toy on the floor he will grab it. He also does it first thing in the morning, if tyhere is something in his path from the crate to the bed he brings it with him, he is very soft mouthed and really only holds the objexct lightly. He is Poodle X Cocker and there is not much poodle in this boy at all, he has so many Cocker traits and I feel this is one of them. I hope he never stops it's so cute, apart from if he grabs a sock and one of the other 3 decide it is tug of war time holey socks for me!! One of my poodles and my Whippet both do this. Both retrieve also. tlc you know that poodles ARE originally a retrieving breed don't you.. ?? Yep for sure, I guess I just liken Bronsons traits to a be so cocker like as we had a PB cocker for 13 years and he is her to a T. My poodley girl Lacy is broken for sure she will not retrieve to save her life, just not interested! But Tully got a good dose of both as she is a born retriever, soft mouthed, brings back, places the article in your hand.
  24. Everything Kristen said. LR is awesome!!
