I think I tend to agree with this well in my case any how, My youngest does this when we come home, he will go to the toy box and grab something or if there is a toy on the floor he will grab it. He also does it first thing in the morning, if tyhere is something in his path from the crate to the bed he brings it with him, he is very soft mouthed and really only holds the objexct lightly. He is Poodle X Cocker and there is not much poodle in this boy at all, he has so many Cocker traits and I feel this is one of them. I hope he never stops it's so cute, apart from if he grabs a sock and one of the other 3 decide it is tug of war time holey socks for me!!

Oh maybe I will steer clear of the Dino, my youngest wuol dbe fine as he just carries but my second youngest if she sits still with anything for a second it is destroyed. Thanks for all the replys.

Hey Tenties where you at tonight? How's the mum and pup doin?

Well we have a few combinations it just depends who can go on which day. We haven't really had an organized walk for a long time. The last big one we had me x 4 JJ x 3 RJ x 1 Tez, x 1 (tez has two now) Tanya x 1 and Shan x 1 And usually our walks comprise of those people but just different combinations. Jess is yet to catch up with us for a walk she lives out if town and is busy with job dogs etc so not always possible to get into town and coordinate with us also Tenties lives out if town too and has had lots of car trubs so she has been out of action also! I walk my dogs every day unless it's pouring rain or stinking hot. I only work part time so most of the rest of my time is devoted to my doggies and doing things with them. So yell out if you can go walking one day, I'd love to meet you. Most of us in this thread met here and have continued friendships which is great. I also have a few other doggy fiends I walk with that are not members of Dol, some from work, some family, some old friends and some who I have met at the dog park and become friends with, so my network of doggy buddies is pretty broad. Do you ever go to Bunnings maybe I have served you in there before? I'm in the paint dept.

Ah Lizzie a girl after my own heart, I love all that boutiqey doggy stuff and my girls do it so well. Puppy phat stuff is awesome! Did you mean where is jj or who is jj?? I'll answer both. JJ used to be a member here but has gone on a little doliday! No exactly sure of all the details apparently some stuff was said in here between him some other members and then it got deleted, I came along too late and missed it so don't really know what it was about but it must have been serious enough to make him leave. Well that covers where is JJ now who is Jj, Jj is Jerojath, he lives in town here, he is a breeder of Hungarian Vizslas, he had a lovely family and is a really nice guy. He started this thread and was a major poster here, hence why I miss him and his witty banter, he was good value!! Did you see the photo I posted of him and one of his golden girlies? We will organize a walk one day when you can make it and will ask him to come along. Hope that all makes sense? Wonder if Jess is back from her trip? How was it Jess, how did the girls travel? I haven't heard about Sams either, and your right Tanya, all those shops and no one in them. Wish I could win tatts so I could open my doggy boutique, although not too sure how it would go in a town like Warrnambool, what do you guys reckon?? Not everyone is a nutter about coola dn groovey stuff for thier doggies like I am. But I would love to have a shop like that and have special things like pets on parade competitions santa photos etc. you never know one day it might happen. Wonder where RJ is, busy on her house forum I suspect?? I miss JJ.

Good idea, I will look into them. We don't really have the sort of stock feed places that would sell this sort of thing, but I did think of another place in town that I could try. This evening I went to give the dogs thier tea and Bronson wouldnt eat his because he didn't want to let cuzzy out of his gob so Cuzzy is on a bit of ao sabatical for the time being.

I love Bargain Basement, they had the best dog stuff, hey Tenties do they still have lots of doggy stuff?? We used to have one here it was opposite the old macdonalds.

I meant to post these last night, I took them at Albert park with my phone, thought they were pretty cute and for anyone who didin't see the front of yesterdays Standard Shan and I went into the standard today and I got a couple of pics that they didn't put in the paper, would have liked to have got them all but at $11 a pop I only got two.

Wow thats awesome! I hate buying toys that get destroyed so quickly, The cuz has been resurrected a lot, I hide oit for a while then bring it back out again because they are really obsessed with it. But I don't like them to have it when Im not here as I think it is too small for Cooper to play with. Paranoid I know but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thanks Guys, I have just been doing some googling and it seems they are not as expensive as I thought they were. It is a real pain that I can't find them in town, there is one vet clinic that I haven't looked in yet will go there tomorow, otherwise Sags shop will probly be the way to go!

Yea it si pretty cute, they had so much fun that day and I was worried they would hate the snow. Lacy just sat and was so perplexed but the other 3 didn't stop the whole time we were there. On the way home (2 hour drive) back to mums all 4 of them cuddled up together in the back they were exhausted!! It was a fantastic day and I hope we can do it again in the next couple of years!

Poor doggie, I wonder if the dog now thinks he needs to protect the family after the fright. They could perhaps be more assertive on other ways, maybe they already are. Do they go to training with him? Do they play the leadership role well? Hard to know how exactly to make him feel secure, but if they are more assertive then hopefully he will relax in time. its a bit like getting a dog over a dog attack as soon as you can get them out and around other dogs the better as long as your sure the dogs they are around are ok. Have they had him around other dogs since this happened?
