That's fantastic, well done! Lacy has had her first visit last week and she went extremely well, she is not quite as in tune with the patients as Tully was and was looking to me for every que on what to do next as she wasn't sure what she was doing there but I'm sure she will get the hang of it in time. The patients loved her so that was good! Cleo, look forward to some pics of you and Shandy! I have a couple of Lacy on her first day I'll post them when I'm at the pc next.

I thought the same thing the little dog was very composed through the whole thing never even looked like it was going to get agro with the judge. That poor dog, if anyone ever handled a dog I owned like that I'd rip them a new one!! Absolutley disgusting!!

Ah thats interesting as I usually use something tasty for training, Boiled liver, chicken cheese etc and my oldest girl is a total foodie and works well but only if thier is something good on offer, I was lazy a couple of weeks ago and just took Kibble (Nutro) and she actually spat it out and looked at me with absolute distain as if to say "hey wheres the good stuff" Can't wait to try them on this stuff!

Well that makes 3 weeks seem lke over kill ;) I know what you mean about hard to get, thats why I swapped from EP to Nutro. With the EP I had to order in advance as they don't keep it in stock as they don't sell enough of it. But when you consider the price and the quality of the food for me including the cost of freight I will be paying the same but getting an extra 5 kilos of food and the quality is better so how can I lose. Whoops better not count my chickens too soon must wait for sample for puppies to try

Yea your right the sky was pretty awesome looking, I just seen a mates pic on face book of the storm front in frankston and it was amazing! Mums in Gippsland and they have had hot and steamy all day but raining at the same time.

Just wondering for the users of Black hawk, did you guys change your dogs over gradually like you would any other food or is it not as important with the more premium brands as they are similar? When I went from EP to Nutro I went 3/4 EP 1/4 Nutro for a week then 1/2 and 1/2 for a week then 1/4 EP 3/4 Nutro for a week then all Nutro so the transition took about 3 weeks not sure if this is the right way to do it but there was no trouble and the change over didn't cause any tummy upsets at all. (think my lot have cast iron constitutions ) had to take it easy mostly for my oldest boy who has some food issues.

Another crazy heavy downpour here today, the dam weather just won't make up it's mind!

Bloody hell hows this rain, I knew it was coming but did NOT expect it to be that heavy, I went outside to film it to send a clip to my sister and I have never seen rain so heavy and it seemed to come all of a sudden, scary!!

Its funny you should mention this. My youngest is hilarous if he thinks he is missing out on something. Just the other day we were having our annual xmas photo shoot so I could make my xmas cards and My boy is very impatient so I usually make him wait for things and he mostly goes last being the youngest. So I did the shots of the other 3 making him wait till last then he was so eager to get in the chair and pose, but he realized once he got there he didn't know what the heck he was supposed to do, it made for some funny photos! But he soon eased into it. I find I use it to my advantage especially with grooming, if one is getting it you can be sure the other 3 will want some of the action.
