  1. That's gold and also the reason I do not have a doggy door.
  2. I actually have 2 kitties, my boy Bailey who is 6 is a beautiful Birman.
  3. So true, she has been all over the country side and seen a lot of stuff go down in those 19 years!
  4. She does doesn't she, I've had her to the vet last year (she hadnt been to the yets for 18 years) and he couldn't believe how old she was, apart from her teeth needing a bit of a clean up she was all good. She does drink a lot of water and he said that may be her kidneys but at this age there is not much you can do and to keep any eye on it.
  5. Your funny Tez! I have most of mine done apart from the hard ones to buy for, seams mum and his brother and sister. All the kids are easy there all getting vouchers. It's the last minute food shopping that I hate with mad people shopping it up like crazys grabbing last minute bits and pieces what is it about Xmas that make people o ferel!? Did anyone happen to watch secret life of dogs on sbs tonight? I taped the last half it looked interesting.
  6. You sure have been busy Jess!! Happy Birthday Darcy! It's my kitty birthday today too, she is 19 years young! Good day for birthdays today!! I hope Zee foot heal up quick. Would it be possible to use a small guaze over the crack and tape her foot intstead of bandage? I use the blue 3m tape and it sticks right on thier fur and is so easy for us to get off but I find they don't tend to try to get it off as it is "stuck" if that makes sense.
  7. Thanks guys, she is a dear old thing and now when I pick her up she feels like she has little old lady arms but still full of life, it plays on my mind that she may not be here much longer due to the age she is but I try not to think about it, she has Been such a huge part of my life for so long!
  8. Just wanted to share some pics I took today, 19 years ago today my Girl Holly was born, she has been with me through thick and thin over the last 19 years. I named her Holly as she was born on the 1st December so thought it was a little christmassy name. She looks kinda evil but she is the exact opposite, such a lovely girl. She wasn't willing to have her pic taken with the santa hat on but I got one shot. I reckon she still has some life in her, she still loves to go outside when it is warm, she eats like a horse, she is totally deaf, but I still talk to her she is the queen of the house and she keeps the dogs in line! I hope I can post some pics next year when she is 20!!
  9. Love it Huga, she looks kinda ferrel in that shot, but in a good way!! was she doing zoomies? or been in the water??
  10. Erny, my oldest boy had a severe reaction to his 16 week vacc for Canine cough, the one that they get on its own at 16 weeks. His whole face swelled up till he nearly couldn't breath, the swelling started about 10 mins after the vacc was given. We took him strait back to the vets where they gave him an shot of anti histamine (sp) and the swelling started to subside, it took about 6 hours for his face to return to normal and he has never had a reaction since. The vet said it was uncommon for them to have a reaction but occasionally it did happen and it was usually the CC vacc that did it.
  11. I thought about it, but you looked like you were on a mission! I think we should organize a big doggy get together before Xmas, who's in??
  12. too funny, great shot CM, always love to see your guys!!

  16. Ohhh nice, great shots. What a great Xmas pressy!
  17. Oh no that's so sad, so sorry for the loss of your little bunnies, they look so adorable,I can see why you loved them. Hugs to you, sometimes things just happen that are out of our control.
  18. go little sluggie!! I have just got home from another Hospital visit, I took Lacy today, her first day visiting, she did very well but she is so different than Tully, she just keep looking at me as if to say " well what's next" but she was very well behaved and the patients loved her. You certainly realize how good your life is after visiting sick people. One man remembered me and Lac from 2 years ago when I visited my Nan in Lyndoch, what a memory!!
  19. Thanks Tez, to be honest I am really embarrassed about Tully only just passing now, she has been ready to pass for about 18 months but just never got around to doing it. Trish said today she will pass the next two levels easy, so i will have to make more of a conscious effort with her next year. And the trouble with the older two is they are more advanced but won't retrieve so can't advance in the levels which drives me insane!! First thing next year I will see if I can run-through with Bronson, he should pass, will see how he goes and have to make a conscious effort over summer to keep up with training here and there!
  20. I know can't for the life of me get him to look enthused about having his pic taken inside!
