I found this L Series Lenses
-
There is just so many I sound like people at work, "why does there have to be so many colours" I can't wait till I get my first L, think it will be the 70-200. I want to know does L really stand for Luxury?
-
Is the only difference between G and D you can manually focus without having to flip the switch? Or is it that G has no aperture ring? Are Nikon lenses more complicated to understand than Canon ? Or is it just me?
-
I sure did, it's great for action like you said, I took a heap of seagull shots yesterday just for practice (they are on Facebook) there is really nothing this lens can't do.
-
Thanks, we are heading up tomorrow to check out the gallery, I'm a lil bit excited! :)

A few more from today
-
I will have nightmares tonight, how could you do that to your gorgeous whippys!
-
M&Dm, nice catch up shots! Ice cream shots are awesome! Beautiful Justice as usual! week 37, Lacy looks a little crazed in this shot, she was having so much fun running around! I really dont know what week we are in or if week 37 is even up to date, Ive lost track!

Fantastic pics, look forward to yours MM. Huga is your the Nikon version? If anyone is interested DWI have specials on all their Sigma range this weekend! edited to add..... I just noticed comparing the Nikon 85mm 1.4 to the 1.8 the 1.4 is about twice the price, how can there be that much difference between 1.4 and 1.8, I know there is but is there a technical explanation?
-
Hasn't been much action in here lately, just me again! Not sure what these guys were doing but I snapped some shots.
-
I have this guy on my Facebook and i used to work with him, he is into photography and you should see some of the stuff he does to his kids, candle wax, paint etc, he used a wet paper suit for one shot of his little girl and it ended up in a photography magazine. m hopeless with experimenting, I never seem to get it right! My mates pic of his little girl in a wet paper suit, and another one, you could do this with spaghetti.
-
He kind of has a face like a whippet. Maybe he can be an honorary whippet till his schnoz fur grows back!
-
I was going to write can't wait to see what you come up with but then looked one post higher and I already said it! I cant imagine what you can do with spaghetti and portraiture?
-
I wonder how do you hold your tounge when people bring dogs like these matted and maggeted and you have to deal with them, how do you stop yourself from going all Chuck Norris on them! I just couldn't do it!
-
I just can't understand how people can let their dogs get like this and whats been described above, its just heart breaking. I feel so sorry for the poor dogs. Really it doesn't take much to upkeep a coat, even a long one. I have 4 and not a knot to be seen, especially since I have dogs with the worse coats in the world (why cant I find Mr winky eye man?) I find them quite easy to maintain and i think if people can't embark on basic hygiene and grooming for their dogs they shouldn't have them! I recently give my youngest a hair cut and did something I don't usually do and trimmed his face off super short, well I have gotten a lot of negative feed back, and I'm like oh well its only fur it will grow back, I think he looks kind of cute, I would prefer it boofier but just for a change I thought I'd try something different!
-
I'm not really sue, I think they are variations of the same bug, I think the second one is the one who's double ended at times. the first one has dots down its back. We have hundreds of them here but they are fast, I have to be quick which is tough with the 100mm. With the protea the pics were not as nice as I'd like, I wanted the very centre to be the main focus but in most shots the camera had a hard time focusing on that centre bit it kept focusing on the inner yellow bits. I've resorted to manual focus a lot more and seeming getting better at it. I think it's true that practice makes perfect!
-
I liked it too but wished the background was all the same, silly fence!
-
Absolutely awesome!!
-
Yes Protea, we did a training course at work on them. The trainer showed us how to trim and give us the cutting, so of course I seen a photo op.
-
Having a bit more of a play, I liked this shot but the background was meh, so I added a texture, couldn't decide which one so I did two. Think I like the first one best. :)
-
 Glad I wasn't the only one!
