My friend is getting a boy, he flys from Tassie on 5th Nov. I can't wait to take some pics of him. I've seen a few baby pics of him already he's very cute! It's hard to think your 12 week old pup is around the same weight as my six year old dog!
-
Love the new pics, do you have any of him younger? Has he grown much?
-
Sorry to hear your having a crappy year. Look forward to seeing your guys again when you feel up to it!
-
Well your a quiet one, I never see you on Facebook, have you seen my photography page, One of your guys is featured in the K9 section HERE Im not sure which one of yours it is/was? So sorry to hear about Zak and Aami, 17 not a bad age, but so hard when they go. Thanks for the lovely compliment about my photos.

Hey Munchin, long time no chat! How are you and your fur kids?? I think you can jsut use regular light globes to can't you? Not the energy savers but the older type.
-
So much cuteness, I will definatley post some photos. I notice Luka has some lighter blue patches, will these eventually darken up? My friends pup is merliquin coloured, similar to Luka but a bit more harlequin all over.
-
 Tag looks like he is thinking " what you talking bout Willis!"
-
That's awesome FM, he looks like a lovely boy. I will be taking some photos of a friends next month when he arrives and his coulor is both Merle and Harlequin. What do the Frenchies think of your new baby? Ay pics of them together?
-
He is so cute, is he Merle, Harli? or both? and is he yours FM????

I agree re the swimming, my guys have a much better time at Kilarney! The leash free all year round is to the right of the Ritchies point car park, ( turn right before the bridge) I've been there heaps and never seen another dog Leash free all the way to the flume then regular leash laws apply from the flume to the breakwater. . Logan's is leash fee all year round but quite often there is dogs and people there surfers etc, especially when the whales are there.

What no one comment on my highly trained dog comment, slipping people, slipping bug time!!
-
Well how bizzare! I wish Gayle would come back, I miss seeing her dogs and hearing her stories I enjoyed her posts she was always very down to earth.
-
Am I right about the Leash laws? Are dogs supposed to be leashed on footpaths roads etc? Or is only some states? Does anyone know for sure?
-
Beautiful shots in here everyone! Teekay, Luka has grown into such a stunner, reminds me so much of one of GayleKs dogs, similar markings. Kirislin, that second shot is just awesome!

That's so sad, we also have a few around our area that don't leash their dogs and just walk along side the rd or the footpath. I mentioned in passing to one couple one day that the dog should be on a lead, they said why, I said what if a cat or something runs out and the dog chased it and get in the way of a car? They said that wouldn't happen as the dog is well trained and I should mind my own business. I just parted by saying also its actually against the law and excuse me for caring for the well being of your dog! I wasn't even sure it was the law then but I think it is now? I don't say anything now, people can be nasty, so I worry about what I'm doing and bugger everyone else! If your doing the wrong thing and something bad happens its no ones fault but your own. Still sad the lady had to die. I think a lot of people don't realise what can happen and are to casual about it.

They're great, not boring at all. Of all your photos I've looked at I've never noticed Lotus's tail being shorter! :) I'm going to take the 100mm to the beach with my lot soon, I'm looking forward to seeing how It goes, last time I had he 17-70 and the shots were ok but too far away, so I think the 100 will be better.

I was so shocked to read this thread, so sorry to hear of Iittle Cals passing, glad you were with him at he end. Big hugs to Finn as well, he will miss him terribly. -
Oh I meant to ask you have you been using AIServo on moving subjects? It works soooo good! I love it.
-
Arghhh how annoying I just did a big reply then it disappeared! I have been using BBF since about a week after I got my 7D it's great. I set it up so it's the middle button that focuses, I still sometimes forget and use the shutter. Old habits ey! Today I've been using manual more, I find sometimes with being in AV if the dogs are running the shutters not quite fast enough unless I bump up the iso so if I got to manual and make my shutter speed a bit faster I'm getting better results. Can you share any from today?

Jess do you ever take your girls to Logan's or Ritchies point? , both off lead for dogs, but it's hard going in the sand for walking. That's why I love Killarney, the sand is usually great walk on and better swimming for the dogs. Mine won't go in big surf, only paddle at the edge but thy will swim at Killarney.
-
Me too Jess, it's hideous! My friend lost her dog to 1080 last year, she was in a caravan park. It must have been dropped by a bird. I'm paranoid every time the digs pick something up when I'm out there over summer. My guys stick to the beach but there is always still a risk of a dropped bait on the beach!
-
Stupid baits, but of course it doesn't bother me and my dogs because my dogs are highly trained with the leave it command, they will drop anything I tell them too!! :p No but seriously that sux, I haven't been out there for ages but get awfully paranoid if we go to Killarney! RJ, had a bit of a sad attack tonight, something caught my eye on the book shelf and guess what it was the photo of all my guys with Mawson and Sniffy, that I took that day at Albert park on the last walk we all went on together. I have the photo in a frame I got for christmas last year from a friend. I'm sure sniffy has some new buddys over the

Ok I think today might be the start of week 42, (if you are going sunday to Sunday) So since I have no good shots of Lace from last week I took some today which will be my week 41 and that gives me a week to do week 42. Snook is it just you and me in here now? Week 41 Couldn't decide between these two, My pretty girl.

Awww what a good boy, Is he a Maremma, he looks yellow on my mac. He just looks like he blends in in the first photo. The guy in our town who breeds them for looking after the penguins was at the last Bunnings volunteer day we went to with two of his, they are amazing and they were very calm and well mannered. I had my girls with me (for Delta) and Tully wasn't impressed with these big white mammoths. Its nice to see them doing what they are bred to do!
