  1. I love the statue one, so funny, he is really just suspended there! Looks like he is enjoying his roll too!! Thanks for the explaination Sway.
  2. Sounds like you have looked after it, get an idea by having a look on ebay and seeing how much they go for on there. I recently sold just over $3000 worth of camera stuff for $1200 Camera and 3 lenses, flash and two batteries and a bag. So it was a bargain as one of the lenses was $900 on its own and had only been used a few times. Just to give you an idea.
  3. Thanks I think so too! They are not a breed they are a cross, Cocker Spaniel x Poodle.
  4. Similar situation with my oldest boy a few years ago, he had a dislocated toe, vet picked it up almost Instantly. Hope your boy is ok Sam Man.
  5. Love the jigsaw pic, so cute! The butt swirl is the best!
  6. Love this thread! a couple from tonight, our resident Spidey!
  7. He looks gorgeous, very smiley!
  8. I just got the email for that today, good bargain!
  9. Saxon has grown so much, I swear he gets more handsome and bigger each photo you post. CM, do you have any portraits of people from your 85mm?
  10. So Luka is Harlequin. but not true blue? but not black? So what colour is he then? Sorry not trying to be difficult just trying to understand the logistics? Its very confusing, I tried to understand colour genetics with cockers once and I gave up on that pretty quickly! Is there a way to explain how diet affects coat colour? Does this happen with all breeds or just danes? Can black become blue? or Visa versa? With Lukas nose colour because it is black does that mean his patches should be black too? Once again not trying to be difficult just trying to understand. FM, so sorry for all the off topic conversation but its very curious to me, colour genetics have always interested me but I find it really difficult to understand.
  11. Wow, did you get any shots of them all together?
  12. Just reading back over the last few posts about colour, Im a bit confused about the colour thing, I have seen photos of my friends pup and he definatley has big black patches with a bit of merle added. To me Frodos mums Lukas patches don't look black, they look like a blue colour, so if he isn't blue Harli then what would he be classed as colour wise? I don't want to take this thread off topic as I enjoying the photos of this lovely boy, but just curious about the colour bit? Is there another name for blue colouring? Its very confusing?
  13. Well at least they don't move, love the bug under the leaf too! I can't remember if I had posted this one so Ill pop it in here again. A live one!
  14. Finally I got a bee! They are not the best but still. It was funny, I went to the mail box and just happened to have the camera around my neck as we had just come back from the park when all of a sudden I hear buzzzz buzzzz and I instantly knew it was a bee, well I grabbed my camera so quick and found it and went snap snap. This is what I ended up with!
  15. Thats great, those ears, he needs his own runway so he can take off!!
  16. Oh thats awful, poor Tag, poor you, so scary! I have no helpful advice, just hope they find something with the test so he can get some meds to help no more occurrence. I have a friend with an epileptic dog and she is on medication, seizures strated whens she was about 1, scary and horrendous for any owner to go through with their dog. Fingers crossed he has no more.
  17. Well your slipping, Id like to see at least a photo a day in here! Snap to it!!!
  18. Lovely Huga, Love the ears on that first shot, we have a puppy GSD at obedience and she is so placid and a joy to take pictures of!
  19. that's funny, what is it with the donging on the head two of mine do it to each other all the time! So funny watching them, it's like a power play! Mine are good with big dogs they know and are around a lot just not strange ones. When a lacy was a pup we met a lady one day walking her harlequin Great Dane and she was huge, Cooper just wanted to say hello and Lacy who was only 5 months old at the time just did a total freak out and started screaming like a banshee  I totally did the wrong thing and lifted her up, she was then eye level to the Dane and stopped squealing, but I guess to her size of about 3 kilos at the time the Dane must have seemed like a giant.
  20. Yes it will be great to see photos of them growing up. My friend is also on DOL but she never has time to post, she has busy family life, farm, 3 young kids etc. Actually a couple of DOLers have pups from her (she's a registered Stafford breeder) I can't wait to see what my guys think of her boy, All of mine are a bit stand offish with bigger dogs so we are hoping to get some good play dates in while her boy is young and still reasonably little. ( if you can call them that)
  21. Maybe Huckleberry and Luka are related? Same age same colour? Coincidence??
  22. I really want to try the chicken, I think it will be better for my two chunkers! Will just have to watch the other two that they don't lose to much and just adjust portions if that happens. My supplier hasn't got the chicken one in yet but she said soon so hopefully by the time I need a new bag she will have some!
  23. We decided to make a dog run about 3 years ago, It really hasn't been used once but in Winter we use it as the dog only area and for the dogs to do their business. The rest of the yard is blocked off as we get some flooding, if we have nice days they have access to the whole yard, I just open the gate and they can run riot. they don't though unless i am outside with them, they are either sitting on their beds at the back door or inside with us. the run with a treated pine decking and sides, lazer light over part of the decked area, with huge crate and kennel underneath. (the cat is so far the only one to have used the kennel which we have had for 5 years.) The run pictures with the rest of the yard. This is the scene while we at work, via doggy cam, they are not very interesting to spy on. This is where they would all like to sleep, and do for a cuddle before retiring to thier own beds on the floor, except the girls who take it in turns sleeping on the bed. The youngest still sleeps in his crate (hes 4) My side OH's side so thats my dog run and my set up, so realistically we didn't need the dog run but it has served a purpose. We have never used the crate but it might just come in handy one day who knows. and the kennel well the cat enjoys it! Seems the favorite place for all of our family is the bed!!
  24. I think they have designated the flume to grannys grave and it runs around to Ritchies point a designated dog off leash as its not deemed fit for swimming surfing etc, although there is still a few surfers that get down there. Not sure if you know but there is a car park at the end of the first caravan park (entrance just down from flagstaff hill) and if you follow the path up to the board walk the flume entrance is right there, only one minutes walk from the car park. I'd love to frequent these beaches more but I have to be having a very good 'back' day as the sand is usually soft. but its great for the dogs to have a good work out!
