Not much news in here? Thought I'd pop in to say hey and what's everyone been up to? I've got a friend staying and a few days off work, yay but on the downside I've got a badly pulled muscle in my back ( rhomboid) and hoping a few days off will help it heal, fingers crossed! Tanya, how's bubs? Bet she's getting bigger by the day! Everyone getting sorted for Xmas, it's just around he corner now! :)

I was going to answer but PC has said exactly what I would say, if you use different folders for different events you should be right, also I have mine set so the file numbers run on, they only go back to 001 when when it gets to 999. Every time I take a set of pictures I make a new folder. If by chance there is an occasion where same numbered photos go in the same folder the mac will ask me if I want to keep both files. Have fun with new camera, come join us in the challenges threads if you have time? It's a lot of fun.

Great shots, they all look like they are having fun! $11 for parking at the beach, that's just crazy! Probly why there's never many people there. I'm hoping the weather good here Wednesday, we have a beach trip planned.

DWI sells products from OS but they give Australian warranties, so if you purchase from them and something goes wrong with the product you send off to be fixed but it stays in Australia, even though the product comes from overseas to begin with. I think that's right someone please correct me if I'm wrong. In snooks post she linked to a DWI page with the 430 have a look HERE. Their prices are good sometimes saving 100's of $$ I've got 3 lenses from there so far and been happy with them all and their service is great. All lenses arrived within the week. I used the $10 postage option.

Well pers your camera does a great job of macro! Thats wierd about the 105mm, I know exaclty what you mean though its my 50mm that does it, I used it today with some success, I feel bad because I got it when I got my camera and have used it the least. :laugh:

Ah ok, wonder why? I thought there wouldn't have been a lot of difference between the 100 and the 105? Pers that lady bug is amazing, what are you using for your macro shots?

Are you sticking with Nikon? Or thinking of a change? Do you have a lot invested in lenses already? It might be worth more to you to keep it. I wanted to keep my Nikon but knew once I got my 7D I wouldn't use it so it had to go! I'm such a camera horder! :laugh:

Beautiful! How good is the lens for portraits! S awesome, I know mines not 105 but similar at 100, I love it for my action shots too! I'm shooting a netball game tomorrow night for work, might give it a go with the 100mm see what I can come up with!

I just love flying ears, I get them a lot too and your right you don't notice till your looking at them on the computer! This one, so many people have commented to me when they have seen it that Cooper looks like a rabbit or a hare. :laugh: Sorry for the OT, I should have posted that one in your ears thread. Actually great idea for a thread, just about awesome ears! lol. Cooper has the best ears I love them!!

So glad they got her back, there was something weird about the footage with the kid carrying her one way then the other!
