Are you leaning over the top of the little one when you go to pick him up? Think how you would feel if someone loomed over the top of you and grabbed you up. Try approaching more from his level and from the side and see if that makes any difference... T.

I used to have a female Rotti named Blossom who was so huge when she was pregnant that she couldn't scratch between her boobies, so we used to do it for her... the command was "show us yer tits" and she'd roll over and offer her big fat boobies for a scratch... it stuck long after the boobies went down, and was a fave party trick... *giggle* T.

Sounds like their way of readjusting to the new routines... hopefully it will settle soon. T.

If one dog is intent on doing harm to another, then the only course of action is to separate permanently. It can be done, but requires learning a new routine of management of the animals in your care. Once there is a routine, then it's pretty easy to manage. T.

A friend of mine had the opposite experience DDD - she couldn't sleep properly until her baby was back home, albeit in an urn... but she was home and safe again. T.

I've just used it on a 6 week old pup with liquid poop - and she was only 1.5kgs... worked just fine with no adverse side effects. I've used it effectively on many foster pups over the years. Dosage rate used was 2ml/3kg bodyweight. T.

When you go to the vet, get a fecal float done - look for coccidia, giardia, and roundworms... all can cause runny poop... the float takes about 10-15 mins to get done, and can easily check for the presence of the 3 issues I've mentioned. If she's otherwise happy and healthy and doing everything like normal, I'd probably get someScourban or Ensal and treat her with it for a couple of days to thicken her up. T.

I had a Hungarian friend who used to ecoke a leery reaction from my dogs at the time (Rottweilers)... she used to use a lot of paprika in her cooking, and must have had a strange scent as a result... The dogs quickly warmed up to her when she brought them over a yummy Hungarian meatloaf to share though... lol! From that point on, they were all over her like a rash whenever she came to visit! T.
