  5. Well... that's OK then Pudden... *grin* T.
  6. For the pulling, try a longish lead and loop a portion of it down in front of the chest so that it can flap slightly when the dog is walking... I tried it on one foster I had that was a puller and it worked a charm... don't ask me why, but it did! T.
  7. Pudden... coffee/tea is not the best treat for a growing pup... Check out the smile on my precious boy! T.
  8. Oh Pudden... you be such a boofhead! But we lubs ya anyways! T.
  9. Can you plant a kiss on Pudden's head for me perse? Tell him it's from Aunty T and she thinks he's the best kind of special... T.
  10. I'm a little bit in love with Pudden... T.
  11. Love and caring also work wonders... and he has those in abundance... T.
  12. Go young Mac! Doing well sweetheart! T.
  13. A friend of mine had never been able to deal with the process, so she had her husband take previous pets to the vet for their final visit... ... until one day her husband was away and her old Lab went down and couldn't get up. She called me, and we managed to get him into the car and off to his fave vet... and to my surprise, she actually stayed for the procedure and coped very well considering. I put it down to the fact that the vet was completely amazing - he explained everything to her and was very kind and understanding... not to mention that he was actually waiting for us outside the clinic when we pulled up, and helped to carry Ralph inside to the consult room. It was one of the most dignified passings I've ever been present for. Ayman at Narwee Vet Clinic... you are the greatest! T.
  14. I have never left any of mine when they were given their wings... but I know plenty of people who just aren't able to cope with the process. T.
  15. Still just a case of enacting new legislation when they still aren't enforcing current legislation... not going to work any better than the current stuff... *sigh* Then again, better to be seen "doing something", rather than actually doing something... T.
  16. Do the dog owning neighbours own or rent? If they own the place, then maybe they can install a double gate system? T.
  17. OMG! My heart goes out to you and yours kirty! Fly free with the angels Rupert... T.
  18. I had a Rotti who would take any opportunity to go into my flatmate's room and eat her shoes or soft toys... the dog did not like this particular flatmate for some reason. Solution was for said flatmate to keep her bedroom door closed... T.
  19. You could always send him to me perse... *grin* Just what I need... another slightly damaged dog... although, as Harper doesn't get on very well with the other two (and has to be separated from them), she could probably do with a little brother to play with... NO! I can't have anither pup right now... T.
  20. Zeddy was the enforcer around here with the fosters... she'd let them get away with only so much, then an air snap and growl/bark to let them know they'd crossed the line... puppies running to all corners quicktime... lol! Those that didn't get the rather obvious hint above ended up planted by the throat until they squealed... never a mark on them, but they certainly got the message by then... *grin* T.
  21. Look at the huge feet on the Puddenhead! T.
  22. Way too much cute for just one puppy... lol! T.
  23. Good judges of character, aren't they? *grin* T.
