Hawkesbury Council care a lot about the animals. Staff at Hawkesbury pound definitely care about the animals in their care - that is a given - but those higher up the food chain are all too happy to "work with" anyone who is going to get large numbers of animals out of there so it costs council less in the long run... T.

Guess who's getting a new foster puppy this afternoon? *grin* T.

Bloody council staff care little about what happens to a dog once it's left their care... and a certain "rescue" is springing loads of animals that the council now don't have to pay any extra costs for (ie. destruction/disposal)... of course council want to "build a relationship" with this mob... grrr! T.

esky... my rescue coordinator says she is going to call you - and I'm happy to foster the pup for our rescue. We just need it brought down to Sydney, OK? T.

Ummmm... with regards to fostering... well... 4 dogs isn't much more work than 3, right? Hahahaha! T.

Phoenix looks to be recovering faster than Dusty... poor Dusty still looks like he's doing it a bit tougher than Phoenix. Was Dusty in worse condition to start with? Both are definitely coming along well though, and I'm sure they will both be fine in no time. T.

The boys are looking better with each photo... and Phoenix sure looks comfortable with young Digby. I think Phoenix is becoming a bit of a camera fan - I swear he's posing in the awake photo... Dusty has gorgeous eyes, but they do tell a story, don't they? I'm looking forward to seeing him become as settled as Phoenix seems to be under Ella and Digby's wonderful care. Teddies will be handed over to dogmad on Saturday... can't wait to hear/see how the boys go with them... there are a few largish ones which will be great for cuddling up to, and a couple of smaller ones that will be great fun to play zoomies with when they get more energy and want to play. T.

I have a large bag of teddy bears in my car... *grin* T.

Awwww... ain't he precious? Can I give you a tip? Might be time to trim his claws. If you get him used to the process now, it will be easier when he gets older. I do my foster pups' claws when they are tired and smoochy - and it only takes about a minute... T.

Quite frankly, a Cane Corso is going to be a very large and intimidating looking dog - no matter whether you desex it or not. Apart from wanting a large and intimidating dog, what other traits are you looking for it to have? T.

You can bet your bottom dollar the boys will be losing the danglies when they are strong enough... dogmad and indigirl are sticklers for that... *grin* These boys have definitely managed to get themselves into care with one of the most reputable rescues, that's for sure... T.
