  1. Thanks, might take you up on that Especially since I may not complete a season I don't quit things I'm dedicated to. But things I haven't committed to and am not overly dedicated to, I reserve the right to quit at a moment's notice I won't know what category tracking will fall into at this stage, but I do suspect I won't be overly committed to it I'm only going because a friend is starting her young dog next year after her other dog got T Ch this year. So if I start fresh with someone who knows what they're doing while they are starting their next dog on it, it just makes sense. That and she pressured me into it
  2. Thanks for that Tiggy. I've been sucked into going I wonder how long I will keep it up before quitting Does anyone who tried tracking but are no longer continuing interested in selling their harness/lead or whatever other gear we need?
  3. I'll be there from the 17th of December to the 5th of January. I'll be staying with family in South Duncraig I don't think I'll be doing much with Daisy over the break, probably just a bit of agility stuff as we'll have a few classes before and after Xmas. Shame you're not arriving a week earlier, you could come watch our last trial of the year!
  4. Then the party is now at a show, not a trial Nibblies and booze all round? They need a class for pet dogs on NYE so we can have a laugh :D Ruby and I will be the first to trot around the ring and be laughed at Ok Ptolomy and RS deal. As long as someone puts me up for the night so I can have a drink and we throw all the Tollers possible at the judge (Only your two youngest are entire though right Ptolomy?) Should be entertaining! See if we can get RS in the ring! You're welcome to stay at mine if Ptolomy doesn't want you But I wanna drink too so maybe we can just camp out on the grounds We can also celebrate Ruby's birthday when the clock strikes 12! Me in the ring?
  5. RRR for both dogs, try and get Millie weaving, and get Ruby's dummy present better (not dumbell, though that could use some work, too!) and have her happy to run straight back to me as fast as she can after dummy retrieval ;)
  6. Then the party is now at a show, not a trial Nibblies and booze all round? They need a class for pet dogs on NYE so we can have a laugh :D Ruby and I will be the first to trot around the ring and be laughed at ;) :D
  7. Fine, ditch Ruby and pair with Jedi then, see if I care :D I would love to go, but as TN points out, we need $$$$$$ to do so and it costs extra to bring a dog! Don't think I can afford to do the Nationals either :D
  8. Pick me You can come and meet all the red family :D and get dog hair all over you Awesome huski, we definitely need to catch up ;) I think a bunch of us need to go out to dinner and/or get drunk then :D
  9. Ditto! I don't do anything on NYE, and would much prefer to hang out with doggy people at a trial! Hmmm why don't any clubs in Perth hold one on NYE Maybe we all need to gatecrash the Adelaide one ;)
  10. December 10th. I think it's Adelaide who has a NYE obedience trial.
  11. Have you tried calling her mobile from a different number other than yours?
  12. :D :D ;) and what a difference it made Well done on your title on Friday night - Millie worked really well and you were a heap of fun to have around PS - make sure you bring another popping bottle for the last trial of the year!!! Mental note: get sloshed at all trials so I am more fun I can drink more at the next trial because I probably won't have a dog entered!
  13. I am hoping to do the ET next year too, we'll see if I actually get round to training for it ;) I am also going to try tracking So I'll see you there!
  14. I was going to post the same thing last night when I updated my goals, but didn't want the responsibility to fall on me ;) Maybe Seita will start another one? :D Or maybe you can, wuffles!
  15. Title done With a 3rd first place :p And it's full steam ahead straight into Novice this weekend. So whatever happens from here onwards is just a bonus, as I've already achieved the goal of CCD for Millie and CD for Ruby this year :D UPDATE: Milliemoo got her CD title this weekend so we achieved our 2010 CCD goal and then got a nice big CD bonus on top In novice we got two 1st places and a 3rd place ;) Millie has more trophies in her short trialling career than Ruby has in her longer one Fingers crossed for some legs towards CDX next year for both my girls! (which will now be the end of the trophies now that Millie is also playing with the big kids in Open! :p)
  16. Nawww shucks JulesP Great stuff and go Poppy!! Would love to see some video sometime :p But hey, don't go channelling my nerves, too, they will be your undoing in the ring! A glass of champagne before heading into the ring Friday night helped me to remain calm and show my dog that everything was ok When she senses something is up, she heels behind me like she is wary of me and that she is possibly in trouble. I managed to get it together at this last trial and her heel position is one of the best I've seen in a trial to date Now if I could only sort both my dogs informal recall out. I'm so not happy with their recall when we are out and about
  17. That happened to me not too long ago I had noticed them up there for ages and kept meaning to clear them, even to the point I said to myself to write it down otherwise I will keep forgetting! Sure enough, had company over, we sat in the lounge after dinner for coffee and dessert and I spied those cobwebs Argh!
  18. North is like a whole 'nuther country!! Drumbeat, you have to assume that if there are no responses, then nobody is able to help/comment, don't take it personally I've been ignored plenty of times I've never used kennels. The dogs stay at my parents place and now I am facing the first time since having my dogs where the whole family are going away down south for a long weekend and so the dogs have nowhere to stay. I am opting to stay home because I'm not so keen on kenneling my dogs, so I will probably be looking after my sister's dogs, too. (That and I could really do with the money I'd be spending on kennels and the trip down south! So it's basically a money saving exercise )
  19. I never got to have any input into Ruby's registered name Breeder didn't ask me and I didn't think to ask her, but I am sure had I asked she would have let me, as she had no theme she stuck to. I was just a pet buyer who didn't really have an understanding of the names until after she came home, so the breeder did it for me. I hope my next pup the breeder will let me have some input into the name, that is an enjoyable part of getting a new puppy! Especially when my dog's registered names actually get used as we compete in dog sports Sorry to the OP, I have no suggestions
  20. Awesome! Go Soggy and Strauss!! :D So how does showing work - did they both end up going against each other for Best of Breed?
