Thanks It's always funny when you realise you have met a DOL'er and didnt even know you had! ;) yes it is and there was another one there on Monday too, will introduce you next week if I remember, there are also a few on the lower oval I am sure you would enjoy meeting Yes we are most awesome down there Loved the video, too!! I think you should do doggy dancing too -
He didn't waste any time getting comfy on the lounge

Off topic but it's her lawn - she should be forking out the $$ to topdress it if she wants that done, not you! That is what I said! she seems to think that it's in the lease, which I pulled out the other night not a single thing mentioned nut job! anyway seasol it is. It's possibly in the lease that you are to care for the garden/lawn, but I don't think topdressing the lawn should fall under that category. I've been a landlord, and wouldn't dream of asking the tenant to do that (well, at least not pay for it!). Anyway, going off topic now Which reminds me, I need to Seasol my lawn, a job for the weekend

Tiggy, did you end up buying that The Focused Puppy book from Clean Run? You get to put it into practice much sooner than you thought probably I bought the book, but haven't read it - haven't even opened the cover But a pup is years off for me so I think I have time to procrastinate with reading it

Milliemoo's CCD title is in the new Canine News :D Yeah yeah, leave me alone, makes me a little happy Her other 2 first places in CCD are in the results page Go Moo!! I told Ruby she shouldn't expect to see her name in there, she hasn't been able to pull off a pass lately, let alone first place or enough for another title

Dogs are allowed in some parts of Kings Park, but onlead. I don't think there are any off lead areas at Kings Park. And yes you are right about the apartments and dogs being out in the suburbs I've seen the odd person walking their dog through the city in the morning so I am guessing they live in one of the apartments, but it's a very rare sight. Sending healing vibes to the foal!! Poor baby

Great pics! Hope he sleeps through the night Not sure if I miss having a puppy at this stage or not

Hi Elina, welcome to sunny Perth Perth and Australia in general is not as "dog friendly" as other countries it seems. Dogs are restricted in many public places, I even don't think you're allowed to walk them down the city mall (though I've seen people do this!) Most of the dogs will unfortunately be at home in people's backyards while they work/shop/whatever, because they just aren't welcome on public transport, cafes, etc unless they are an approved service dog. But those of us who love dogs wish it was more dog friendly!! I'd personally would love to take my dogs on the train and into work with me. Never gonna happen, though!! I hope you enjoy your stay here. If you want to see lots of dogs, maybe head to one of the dog shows?

Me too, I would really like a permanent crate set up in the back, you know those custom ones built into the car, and shelves under it too. But not likely in my car! I still need it to cart large items and a crate scenario would mean I can't do that! Even though I transport the dogs every day while I transport large items like once a year! Maybe one day but in a station wagon type car I think. The Tucson isn't really suited IMO for the custom crate thing as well as I'd like.

And when is this happening? :p Are you branching out or sticking with B&W?!

I was dead set on a Mazda3 before I got the Labs. Thank goodness I held out on the new car until after their arrival! I probably would still have my 2 door Daewoo Lanos if it wasn't for that irresponsible driver who took me out! And be in less debt than I am now!
-
Love my leather seats! Wouldn't go for anything else as long as I have Labs!! My car isn't all that practical, though. Sure it's big and the back seats fold flat, but I would like more boot room while the seats remain up. A station wagon like yours would have been better suited to me for the dogs. I like the Hyundai i-30's, in the station wagon. But I prefer mine for me, if that makes sense!

Not a huge one, besides the fact that I can't open the windows without a snow storm of Lab hair flying around!!! And I have to unpack everything if I want to take more than 1 passenger...
-
I got my new car and it turned into a dogmobile. Lab hair everywhere, crates, training props, water bowls, poo bags, you name it. It's not a people mover anymore!!!

As I'm not working at the moment it was a shock to the system, even though I have been getting up at 6ish to get the dogs out before the heat :D ;) I can't wait to see what your posts are like in December / January CC :p This is practically Winter comared to what it will be like :p You'll be very thankful for your swimming pool! Beat me to it! I was about to say, what heat?!?! :p CC will be walking the dogs at 3am in summer, and still be sweating :D Edit: waitl til Feb/March, those are more of a stinker than Dec/Jan!!
