Our bloodhound Earl has been diagnosed with sore and swollen muscles in his back and is on anti inflammatory medicine and rest. I think he overdid it chasing the kelpie up and down some slopes. Does anyone have any suggestions for things that might help too? We are Northern suburbs of Adelaide.

I love Blue Merles but would always be willing for the breeder to pick a pup for us based on temperament and fit for our family. With our Bloodhound I liked the look of the black blanket - didn't even know what a liver and tan looked like - and no love the look of our liver and tan boy

I liked them until I saw the one they did on Designer Dogs :rolleyes: one mention of a Puggle and I turned it off. I did find the purebred ones interesting - as did my 10 year old dog obsessed daughter

Mine have soft crates - one is in the walk in robe - the other is in the corner of the bedroom - they only use them for sleeping at night and are zipped in. I have 2 of the the square dog beds that COTD was selling a while ago in one of them and some pillows and cushions covered by a blanket in the other one.

I leave the TV on Animal Planet for our kelpie if we go out and leave her in the house

I feel very lucky - my 2 are in soft crates - only for sleeping at night though - and neither of them was particualarly hard to crate train - I would get 2 crates though
