couldn't you get any closer, I can hardly see it.
-
a couple of puppy boxers with natural ears too.
-
Yes, it's very american, I think all the danes am staffs have cropped ears too. I dont like it either. I'm glad they dont tamper too much with sighthounds.
-
a friend and I were told about it yesterday and I feel it is my obligation as a dog owner and good DOLer to let you all know. :D http://dannyquest.com/store/category/path/21 It shows photos of each breed but click on the photo and you will see lots more of your favourite breed. Of course the whippets, greyhounds and iggies have alot of the same ones, but usually sighthound people love anything sighthoundy so it's OK with me. this is the one I want. It's a copy of a beautiful china cast I've been lusting after for years. http://dannyquest.com/store/product/path/21_98/product_id/997

they can vary alot in size and temperament. Some are quite bold and some are very timid. I have a feeling some iggies understand that they're small and that big dogs can squash them, there might be a bit of self preservation in there.

Tag this morning. It looks so lovely and tranquil, he appears to be drinking from the lake, but in fact he was eating duck poo! 5F6A2064dppt by kirislin, on Flickr

I just wish I'd managed to get her feet in, but she was constantly on the move. I think she is stunning, she's an Italian Greyhound, not a whippet, I'm smitten with her. He's planning on breeding from her and if I didn't have all my whippets I'd be getting a puppy for sure, but I dont think I can as things are now. She is very graceful, the absolute essence of iggyness, just exquisite.

I met this little girl as a puppy 4 years ago, and haven't seen her since. Widget: Cuteness personified. by kirislin, on Flickr Widget by kirislin, on Flickr and look at her now 5F6A2195dppt by kirislin, on Flickr 5F6A2203dppt by kirislin, on Flickr

I keep coming back to look at it. It's so funny.
-
do you know who owns that dog? It's a great photo.
-
I wonder why they love it so much.

OMG, I'm so glad that wasn't my dog. He looks so pleased with himself. I've just recently posted some mud monster pics of Tag doing his thing on my facebook page. I took them a while ago and might have posted them here or in the whippet thread. Tag is extra funny because as he runs along he dips his head down and grabs mouthfuls of water and squishes it out as he runs, you'll see it running out the sides of his mouth in the pics

glad you like it. Even though it's not a zoom, it's such a versatile lens isn't it.
-
did you use the 100m macro for these latest running shots?

I wish I had a photo of my old falcon ute dashboard that Kibah tore to pieces at the whippet races, oh, and the sun visor, gear stick and steering wheel.
-
I've got some ideas but I need a willing model.

I encourage mine to hunt mice, and Kibah is the champion mouser, but as I said before I've trained them not to chase the parrots, and just about 5 minutes ago I snapped a shot of Kibah looking at one. Admittedly they dont often sit this close so she was certainly interested but I'm happy to say the parrot is alive and well, and yes, my glass sliding door really is that dirty, imagine a herd of whippets running in and out many times per day in Winter with mud on their paws. If it's too clean the dogs run head first into it, Penny nearly knocked herself out once after I'd washed it. That's my excuse 5F6A1993dppt by kirislin, on Flickr

My box arrived today. I've been looking at the briefs, spaghetti is supposed to be portraiture, but alot of people dont seem to realise. I love the tiny people, I wonder if everyone gets the same ones, I've got a little man waving and a blonde lady with what might be a platter, she's so tiny I cant make it out.

No negative feed back from me tlc, I like it short.
-
is he a long coated breed? If he is, I'm wondering if clipping him off might make him more comfy. Good luck with settling him in.
-
Yep, this is my feeling too, she just can't have done it, she's way too pretty, it had to be some other dog or maybe wild animal.

It's awful to think of so many dogs suffering out there. They would have been bought as cute fluffy puppies but the owners either weren't advised or are just too stupid and uncaring to bother grooming them. I tend to think it's the latter because the same people keep bringing in matted dogs, it's not like they learn and from then on the dogs are well cared for.

I'm on a photography forum and it's probably more men than women there. They usually assume I'm a bloke.

Hey! I've got an idea! Drop it down that whopping great hole in your backyard!
