Thank you. Everything goes through Lightroom. I'm not great with Photoshop, so only really use it occassionally to add texture. Editing is my weak point and I'm trying to improve it. cough, I dont think so! I love your editing. I dont do anything to mine, I wish I knew how but I'm just not good with that stuff.

Just to let you know, when you post a new lot of pics you dont need to quote your previous post, you can just hit fast reply, or add reply to post them. Your dogs are gorgeous, I have a soft spot for chi's after getting to know some. They are clever, charming little dogs, and very pretty too! What lens did that super hubby of yours get you.

What Are The Symptoms Of Epilepsy In Dogs?Kirislin replied to ACD4EVA's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming Now that you know it's OK enjoy them! I hope he wags his little tail for you, dont get a fright if you get some mournful howls too. Occasionally I get these eerie sad howls in the middle of the night, scares the you know whats out of me, then I realise it's just a whippet getting in touch with its inner wolf.

Hello and welcome. That's one hell of a camera for someone just starting out! You'll probably never need to upgrade I like the pics you've posted so far, the only thing missing is doggies!

for portraits and some different set ups i mentioned above. i have two standard kit lenses and 50mm1.8 Probably the 50 1.8 then. You can get that shallow depth of field to isolate the subjects from the background. i'm looking for something new to work along side what i have, if you have any suggestions that would be great Oh sorry, I didn't realise you were shopping for lenses, I thought you just meant out of what you have what is the best to use.

Rare Or Disqualifed Colours In Breeds.Kirislin replied to poodlefan's topic in General Dog Discussion I didn't say it was, I just said it looks kinda like. I realise it was a short haired afghan because that's what keshwar said it was. I hope no one took offence at that. If they did, they're easily offended. We cant all be experts but I love seeing breeds that are new to me. I never even knew before this thread there even was a short haired afghan. Can it be shown?

I bet they'd be lovely and soft to snuggle in to. I wonder if you could jazz it up a bit by getting them to sit on some bright Christmasy material and/or have a few mock pressies wrapped up around them, and some tinsel of course.

Comon Things People Dont Realise About Your BreedKirislin replied to MonElite's topic in General Dog Discussion Alot of people think whippets are gentle soft dogs, and they are, to a point, they hunting dogs though and are deadly on little fluffies. Not all whippets I suppose, I have a friend whose dogs have rabbits hopping around unharmed on her property. That wouldn't happen here though.

Rare Or Disqualifed Colours In Breeds.Kirislin replied to poodlefan's topic in General Dog Discussion I always think having colour requirements in the standard is a pity unless it causes heath problems. Otherwise I wish all colours were accepted. It seems such a shame that healthy dogs are put down because their colour doesn't fit the standard.

Just read this all. I hope Danny is now on the road to a full recovery. I know how worried we get about our babies.

My first litter of whippets were very savage and those little milk teeth are like razors. I had just 2 fighting and I thought like some here, oh let them sort it out. After about 10 minutes they were still at it and I tried to stop them. I turned the hose on them full bore and they were oblivious to it, if anything I think it helped them by cooling them a bit. I eventually grabbed one and picked her up and the other was still hanging in mid air from her neck. I dropped them hoping to break the hold to no avail. Finally I grabbed each one by the skin on their backs and picked them both up. For a while they continued fighting, I dont think they realised they were dangling. Another time I had 2 gang up on one and gash her throat open. I could see her jugular vein pulsing. I have no doubt if I hadn't stopped them one could've been killed. I sold one of the pups and intended to keep the other 2 but at about 14 months I was forced to rehome one. They see each other now and are fine.

You've got a digger! I'm sure you'll be posting lots more funny pics of that grubby face.

I can understand your disappointment, it sounds like you were unlucky. I used it for years and found it to be fairly consistent. I noticed some variation but I suspect it could've been more a seasonal variation in the ingredients. I am sure if you'd contacted them at the time they would've tried to resolve the problem for you.

sometimes the 2nd mole on either side of the face isn't as obvious but it's probably there. If in fact he really does only have 3 send him back, he's a reject.
-
I wonder if it's the same breeder.
