I like 2 & 4 the best for the colours.

Is photoshop 7 the same as photoshope elements 7?
-
Staffys and graffitti go well together dont they. In some pics I can see a funny arc shape, like a very bland grey rainbow, what causes that?
-
here it is in context is this what your dogs looked like?
-
found it she's since had another that the vet said needed to come off as well.

	I love this one.

we cant control what other people do, or bring to the park so it's us to contol our dogs. I dont like it though when a particular friend of mine keeps giving my dogs treats even when I ask her not to.

My girl Penny had what I thought were blood blisters but the vet said they needed to come off. I cant remember what he called them. I've got a photo of one somewhere, I'll see if I can find it and post it here.

The cheatin' one! They're not formal races though, we just do it for fun....supposedly, but that little white faced blue girl wasn't happy.

I got this funny sequence of pics yesterday. Two whippets racing and one crosses in front of the other, hampering her run, she made her thoughts very clear indeed!

They are a challenge aren't they coming straight for you at 55 kph. I started with a 400D and kit lenses and I can honestly say, you did alot better than I ever did with that set up. I still consider any reasonable pics I get as flukes. I've just put some on the photobucket site if anyone wants to see. The quality drops off on that site, they're alot sharper than they look there but it gives you an idea. http://s212.photobucket.com/albums/cc71/yv...mview=slideshow

Funny you should mention that. She's never shown any problem with it since but I am going to mention it when I next take her to a vet, hopefully tomorrow.

not necessarily. Bring the camera along and take some pics with what you've got and see how it goes. If you find yourself thinking it's not doing what you want then think about adding another lens but wait and see first. Thanks Milawe, Evolving and Beltar. Evolving you got better shots than I did, my iggy shots aren't even worth showing.

this cute little girl put the muzzle on her dog with some help from mummy. Making new friends and this little fella was quite comfy sitting like this

It's not compulsory to muzzle them on the street like greyhounds are, but our club has made a rule that they should be muzzled when running. Whippets can be a bit like Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, they go from these gentle elegant dogs to screaming crazies. Occasionally if they're really excited some will bite their handler or another dog and they dont really know what they're doing. I've had Kibah bite my leg and another friend had her hand badly bitten by her dog. Although it doesn't happen alot we want to be safe.

Whippet Fun Day HealesvilleKirislin replied to Kirislin's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports Very good, I'll see you there. We usually go to about 2ish so dont come too late or we might be already gone. sometimes we're there longer but it all depends on how many turn up and want to continue running their dogs. I've never met a Lappie in the flesh, or should that be fur.

Yesterday morning I didn't notice anything unusual as the dogs ate their brekky but soon after I noticed Penny looking like she was in pain. Initially I thought she had a tummy ache but it soon became obvious she had some sort of pain in her neck, shoulder or back. I tried to get a vet appt in the morning but they were full and said they'd call me if they got a cancellation. Penny was very quiet and subdued all day and occasionally would let out a little whimper if she moved a certain way. By late afternoon I decided to take her to the vet in the next town 25ks away. The vet went over her but couldn't really pinpoint anything other than to say she's got a pain in her neck shoulder area, which was obvious to me by the trembling of the muscles in that spot anyway. She gave her a rimadyl injections and 5 tabs for me to give her over the next 5 days and recommended rest and quiet (of course). I dont think the injection has helped at all. Penny is in alot of pain but very stoic, the brave girl. I am starting to suspect she might have a pinched nerve. How are such things treated? Would it be the same treatment, rest and rimadyl initially?

Looks like it has loads of personality, I hope it helps to ease her sorrow and brighten her days.

	what does this stand for?
