	I'm wondering too.

I reckon you've earned a free haircut for these

Oh god, did that make you cry again. It's made me tear up.

Perhaps first ask them what colour their rat is. Then if it does sound like it's their you could say you've found a dead one. ;)

;) nothing like an early morning head spin to help you see the world right.

also not my dog, this is a racing greyhound puppy belonging to some friends. He's soon to start racing and showing great promise and is a full brother to the amazing Drill 'em who took all before him earlier this year. Something about this photo makes me think it looks like it was taken many years ago, I could imagine it was from the '30s or something. Dont know why but I like it. and the sepia version

not my dog now but I bred her and I took the photo, it's Tag and Pucks sister Lily racing the Spirit of Tasmania across Bass strait to Tassie, nah not really, just running in the shallows at St Kilda beach. and also not my dog but I am currently looking after her, it's Iggy mums girl, little Zoey looking innocent and adorable I love this one of my Pucky boy, it's all curves and s bends. and this one, well, what can I say, it's pretty typical of the boys

great photos to have, made me cry knowing he's gone now.

I thought this had just happened but it's from over a year ago, still a great story though, with a happy ending.

I really like this photo. I love the slow shutter speed effect. The only reason I upgraded is because I have this obession with capturing my whippets at speed and the 7D fires off something like 8fps and has fast auto focus. I still haven't learnt to get the best out of the camera though. If it wasn't for my obsession my 400D would've served me perfectly well. Those pics I took could just as easily have been taken with the 400D. I agree with getting good lenses, although the ones you've got might give you what you want.

I used the 50mm 1.4 for those and I've got the Canon 7D.

	clumsy zoomies

I was just waiting for someone to comment Lucky he had that little modesty shirt flap eh?
-
what a hero that guy was. the poor little dog looked so desperate as it swam towards him, it was just begging to be saved. happy ending.

	Just gorgeous

Has anyone here got a good condition Canon 450D or above with all the stuff that goes with it to sell? PM me if you have.

aww that's kind of sad, but good that you care for her now, and beautiful photos of the dear old girl.

I just wanted to add my condolences to you and your family. What a terrible decision for you to have had to come to. I hope little Lola is OK, you'll be needing each other now.

Oh shit! I am so sorry, I had no idea.

It's very nice, but what happened yesterday?
-
I'd be interested in seeing what an action shit looks like.

A girlfriend of mine is into motorbike riding, she loves nature and her dogs too. What sort of point and shoot could capture the fast action of bikes zooming into bends and whippets at full pelt and perhaps have macro for flowers too? I suppose it needs to be able to zoom in and not have shutter lag, so she gets the actual moment, not half a second later when they've already gone. Is there such a point and shoot camera?
