  1. I was just telling the breeder that I'd posted some photos and she said she hates photos of puppies with their mouths open, oops so I suppose she wont like these photos. I think they're cute!
  2. yep they were very cute, like they were all moving in slow motion. mmmmm nom nom nom Drunk
  3. The 450D and all the rebel line are designed for people wanting to start out. Some people never get out of auto but when you're ready the camera has lots of other features to allow you some creativity. It's not the camera that makes it macro, it's the lenses. I started with a 400D, the model down from the 450D and it was fantastic. I would've been happy to keep it except that I wanted really fast auto focus that would allow me to capture sequences of my whippets in full flight. I got some pretty good shots with it all the same. I think the 450D would be an excellent camera. Here's a thread all about it showing what it can do. http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=781509 and from flickr http://www.flickr.com/cameras/canon/eos_digital_rebel_xsi/
  4. they're just at that really dopey stage where they cant really co ordinate themselves, and every thing is in slow motion. aahh peace and tranquility
  5. Aah OK, I've put some spaces in there now. Yes that is a cute one. There's a few more similar ones to that, I'll see it they're different enough to post. for a while there just about the whole 10 of them were on their backs squirming like little maggots, cute maggots that is, if there's such a thing.
  6. LOL. I was saving for the 450D but think I might get one sooner and get one like yours unless someone talks me out of it?? I've already squueeeeed over the pics in the Stafford thread I think Justice Shades has a 1000D too, and you should see the fantastic photos she takes. The puppies are so cute!
  7. I'm not sure which one you mean by the last one on the right, all the pics come out one underneath the other on my monitor.
  8. You must be pulling our leg , do you think an SWF attack and Rotty attack would result in the potential for an equal level of injury???. I understand where you are coming from, a dog is a dog and all that, but in reality, breed, size and power having and equal level of aggression is the difference between a torn pair of pants and a scratch on the ankle to loosing half your arm or worse. I can't really see the police K9 units swapping from GSD's to SWF's as in your perception provide equal fear/deterrent factor...........lets be realistic good point, I can just imagine a security chihuahua, a pekingnese schutzhund . I wonder why we never see it if the breed doesn't matter.
  9. ahem, you've obviously got alot to learn. You dont say you've just had a big session without posting pics. waiting, waiting waiting....................
  10. I am naughty sorry, I couldn't help myself
  11. the good old "lick cycle: works well in this household too.
  12. silence!!!!! dont put that thought into my head, uh, too late.
  13. What a gorgeous little puppy, or should that be puppeeeeeeeeee!
  14. I went to see a friend yesterday who has a litter of 10 3 week old puppies, whippets of course. this puppy is attempting to suckle her older sister who has no milk but doens't mind the babies trying. edited to put spaces between the piccies.
  15. Kirislin, just curious.. I just bought a canon DSLR as you know It came with three discs in the box. Which one do you think would be the editing program? "Set up photography" "EOS Digital Solution Disk" and the other one is the instruction manual.. the EOS Solution disk. It's got Zoom Browser and DPP
  16. I might have another try tomorrow, you sure you dont want to come all the way to Vic to give me a one on one tutorial? It amazes me how anyone ever figures this stuff out in the first place, it seems so complicated to me.
  17. KJA is the one to talk to about underwater photography. The Canon 50 1.8 is not a macro, I am assuming the Nikon is from Schnauzerboys comments.
  18. all gorgeous! all beautiful! Whenever I see this thread bumped up I always check in to see what is new, and it's always worth seeing. Congrats MTD, Post some pics.
  19. What do you mean by jewel cases or spindle? I dont know anything about copying but I need to do something soon because I dont have any of my many pics stored anywhere else, apart from the few on photobucket, flickr and redbubble.
  20. And I love this one. Happy Birthday Cooper Jay, looks like Mummy made a fuss of you, as is only proper of course.
  21. Far out, I love them all! also love the PP you've done, I have no idea how to do that stuff but it looks fantastic, although I bet they'd look wonderful straight out of the camera too.
  22. awww geeze, straight away mine doesn't look like that Iltby. I can click on layer at the top of the page and it gives me all different options, new, duplicate, new fill, new adjustment, and then some of them have drop down boxes too, but it didn't look like your example. It's hard being born a computer dummy. stop press, hang on, I might have found something, not under layer, but under window, gee doesn't that make sense, no wonder I am confused. Nup false alarm, I am a computer dummy, it's offical. I ended up with a completely jet black page lucky I picked a photo that didn't matter, although I haven't saved it anyway.
