  1. I know - but I need to fit to size for the new lucher!
  2. Anyone know who might be stocking muzzles and slip leads etc around the Inner West. Since the greyhound track moved I can't find anything to suit my lurchers and deerhounds around town.
  3. I have given this a lot of thought and my rule is not to have more than I can evacuate myself. Frankly I would like ten more dogs, but house rules say max is 4 cos 4 (+2 cats and a bird) is how many I can transport. I don't want to have to make the decision about who stays behind. We all run together!
  4. Gee the BARF people have gone quiet.. I suspect the preservatives in the early processed dog food must have helped us along. All my dogs in the early days of table scraps and supermarket dog food lived well into their teens -even breeds not reknown for it. More recently I have had single digit life spans. What do we know?!
  5. thank dog! I really thought it was just me.. to all DOLers (note I don't tell you what it is..)
  6. I'm not a canine physio/chiro or any other form of canine structure specialist or expert, but my thoughts are that the underwater treadmills are even better for rehab than swimming pools. Don't know what the other of our DOL experts think. 0408229341 Kristine in Annandale (Booth St??)

    Deerhound

OK damn youse all!!! ) Here we go looking at all the pretty Erik pix and then we go to the mail box and GUESS WHAT ?! I get my deerhound club mag and GUESS WHAT?!! my favourite breeder has a litter and GUESS WHAT?!! when I ring her she has a boy left and GUESS WHAT?!! Watch this space for pix of Nelungaloo Rhys. Coming in October to my place.
  8. The reverse of my normal experience where I get completely ignored and they head straight for the doggie!
  9. my ACDX has started to hump outrageously in his old age. He has always been the most even of dogs but now that he has a very bad knee and more recently a bad heart he has started this behaviour. even small puppies!! I can only assume he is trying to dominate the weaker ones because he has no chance any more. When he was well he didn't have to do it and never did. It is also stupid of him as it hurts his knee everytime but being the middle aged bloke that he is he doesn't seem to learn!
  10. lordy I feel deprived. my three are all so precious about their personal space....three beds in opposite parts of the room. Oh he touched me me grrrrr woof! make him stooooop!!!

  13. I was forced to buy Duck last week as there is no salmon to be had in NSW!! grrr EP!! Dogs are very happy with it! Slightly looser poo but I hope that might sort itself out. They can use some more weight so should be OK. I was on fish for her skin so how that works out remains to be seen )
