  1. What kind of skills are you referring to? Because you seem to be making a lot of judgements based on things you have read in the whole 4 days you have been a member.
  2. Well its quite clear then that you have had no experience with Rebanne, who is a fantastic breeder and goes above and beyond for her puppies and her breed in general.
  3. really? and you know this how? Because ''we'' consider genuine, responsible breeders conduct themselves in a similar caring, patient & benevolent behavior as ''we'' do. Try it. It works. Are you saying Rebanne doesn't practice "caring, patient & benevolent behavior"?
  4. Hopefully the dog is ok and fingers crossed it's Willow.
  5. Coogie the photo link I put on my Facebook wall is http://www.dogzonline.com.au/images/profiles/11/09/55367_1326.jpg Hope that helps.
  6. Personally, the bolded bit is what I would do, either on your bed or in a different area, like suggested previously. Putting a nappy on her may stress her out more if she is already stressed. As I said earlier, maybe take her outside and give her a chance to toilet first. And please let us know how she gets on at the vet tomorrow .
  7. No one here is trying to convince her not to spend time with her dog. People with first hand experience using nappies on dogs offered their opinions, and I think that is the great thing about these forums, OP can hear the good and the bad about the nappy idea, and use the wealth of DOL knowledge to help her find what is best for her and her dog.
  8. Yep, they will be fine to trial, HugUrPup will soon see if they work or not, I was just a bit confused donatella why you started using words like dangerous re nappies when no one had said they were dangerous . Looking forward to hearing from HugUrPup how the nappies and Mum and Miley time went .
  9. I don't think anyone used the word "dangerous", My understanding of millbrook's point was that cutting up regular (baby) nappies may present some issues. HugUrPup, if you are planning on using the nappies regularly on Miley, it might pay to invest in some doggy nappies, at least that way you know they are designed for dogs and will hopefully do the job .
  10. I agree with Rebanne, if she's just on your bed for an hour, you should be able to supervise so she doesn't wee on there. From your other thread, the impression I got is she is weeing in inappropriate places when left alone, not when you are right there with her? And I'd take her outside for a wee before letting her on your bed, just in case. Good luck with it either way.
  11. +1 to the bolded bit, from my point of view it seems things in this thread have been blown out of proportion. I will admit I have skimmed some posts in this thread, however from what I have read NO ONE is saying they hit any dog that goes near them.

  14. Hi all, Having just moved to the Western Suburbs of Melbourne, we are trying to find a vet in our local area. We have a consult at Hobson's Bay Vet on Saturday to see what they are like. Just wondering if anyone has used them and can share their experiences?
