  1. if you can't keep her safe when she is in season then desex her at 6 or 7 months old.
  2. going back centuries mine would have lived off whatever they caught in the way of game. And if they didn't catch anything then they would have raided fruit trees and birds nest etc just a century or two ago then it would have been mainly grains, scraps etc as game was expected to be handed over to the humans
  3. I'd put her outside in the morning with her breakfast and go back to bed. She's a pup so yes might dig or chew something. But she might chew or dig something when full grown as well. I've known old dogs to dig holes.
  4. I would give her a late night feed. So breakfast, tea and supper. 9 weeks is very young to be only having 2 feeds a day.
  5. use a long line for now, 4 months is only very young and having her off lead next to a highway is fraught with danger. some very sound advice given already

  8. I've used All Breeds - http://www.allbreeds.com.au/ - a few times, the staff are lovely. Their website says they give insulin injections for an extra $5 a day. Good luck finding somewhere.
