We usually start ours at about three weeks as well, sometimes between two and three weeks of they appear to want it. Had a pup in one litter who was having trouble with his mother's milk but went on to soldids at two weeks and thrived nicely. I think it all depends on the pups.

Hi Havasneeze, Ophnbark is actually our prefix and a business name, it was never intended for the schipps and ours aren't too bad at all except for when people arrive here!!! Sarge's registered name is Ophnbark Call To Arms and we are also showing his litter sister Ophnbark Call Of The Wild (a cream) at the moment. You are doing very well with Faith, keep up the good work!!!

Our guys love their Nylabones but we only use the hard ones. Never had a problem with them. We do go through a lot so try to get them whenever we are at a store that has them, we usually buy the petites out!!!

Hi, I have been training dogs for over 20 years now and love a good challenge, I have tought at club levels ( several clubs) and also out on my own, I have a dog training bussiness here in west Gippsland with quite a few of the ladies doing trial work with good success, I use treats or a sent towell, much the same way as the custom dogs are taught, working on the dogs prey drive and rewarding when exersice is completed. Troy for us as well. There are actually two different varieties of Troy on the market, we use the one with the green label which is one dose but the one with the red label says two days in a row I think. Had a couple of pups have bad reactions to Canex several years ago so haven't used it since.

Hi I am a newbie to the ring I have only shown about 12 times and still get it wrong, my wife has been showing about 10 years on and off, I show a black schipperke named Sarge he was on Hound TV about three weeks ago at the end of the show and now he is known as a dude :D by the presenter steve. We've got timber floors and they were polished with the matt, hypo-allergenic finish and it's great. Most scratches are from us moving furniture!!! Have had slate (also good) and have previously had carpet but never again with our lot, too hard to keep getting the hair up!!!

Our girls get all soft as well when they have been in season, they seem to revert back to normal once they realise they have no puppies or after they have had their pups.

Our girls all mark like crazy before they come in to season and then the whole time they are in season!!! Usually starts a couple of weeks before they come in.
