excellent update, thanks Asal

No reason the pup can't spend time outside. I would guess the owner has got older and it's more work then she remembers. So time outside, some crate training, a puppy training class.

Muster Dogs Season 2 Featuring the Border Collie. ABC News 30/4/23
Rebanne replied to Deeds's topic in In The News
I was surprised with the first muster dogs that kelpies were being used on cattle in the outback and the one used on sheep failed. I was expecting cattledogs on cattle. My only experience with kelpies ( 2nd hand ) was them being used on sheep. -
Huge Hugs to you.

Cragieburn _ Micheal Bell has an excellent reputation. Monash Vets and (Sandown Vets ( have 2 sides to their business ) Greyhounds and Others.) I've used Monash and Sandown in the past.

After only a month, as a breeder, I would have refunded the money, less costs of transport, on the return of all signed papers.

You can help by wiping the pup after each wee you see. I think Labs usually come into season for the first time around 8 months of age. You are half way there. You could see how she goes without the antibiotics and try the Cranberry and ACV. Put the ACV in her drinking water. Ask your vet about using a powder to help keep her dry. I use Medipulv powder on lots of things but I'd check with the vet before putting it on the vulva.

could you please clarify the age of the dog? You said puppy, which to me is quite young, then 10 months old.

Thank God we have each other. I have one sister who gets it and one who doesn't.
-
some people just don't get it, in fact many people don't get it. And where are their manners? Even if you think it there is no need to say it.
-
no idea but if it's that bad report it and see if anything happens

I think you have to have it registered in your name at your home. If it escaped and ended up in the pound you would be responsible for any and all fees, same if it caused damage. This would need to be written into the contract.

Vulnerable Breed Competition Final | Crufts 2023
Rebanne replied to Boronia's topic in General Dog Discussion
Litter size is the difference. You want to pick the best to breed on with. Easier to find one in a litter of 8 - 10 then in a litter of 1-3. -
I no longer breed and have given up my DOL listings and website.

I've had 2 kidney stones, both with very minor symptoms. The specialist told me that I won the award for the biggest stone that year with my second one. And we all know having a kidney stone is supposed to be akin to giving birth.

My parents had a peke who had an eye removed because of a rose bush. No prosthetic. I used to nurse a woman with a prosthetic eye and yes needed daily maintenance. I don't know about dogs but hers was removed every night and replaced every morning. I wouldn't bother with a prosthetic.

Chernobyl Dogs are different ... interesting article !
Rebanne replied to persephone's topic in General Dog Discussion
One thing they said was 15 generations which I think is a mistake. There would be nearly 40 generations seeing as how it happened in 1986. There is so much life surviving and may I say thriving around Chernobyl, it's fascinating -
Exercise and cut her food slightly. Make sure the pups are not suckling from her

we have tried a drug that is off label, so far off label it might have come from the moon. Just dribbled over the problem area and it has made a big difference in only 3 treatments. I was put onto this drugs use by a lady from overseas who has an Iggy plagued by the same things and even one in the same area. I am not prepared to name it publicly and will not share with everyone who asks privately. I'm just glad my vet trusts me.
